He's a HOF QB. Learn your f-ing routes and run them right and get on board with your QB. There's no crying in football. I'm sure Aaaron communicates to his receivers what he wants and how he wants his receivers to do x,y, or z. Is it not up to them to learn and execute?

Aside from some depth piece WRs that played special teams or were backups Rodgers had almost every rookie contribute in a meaningful way as a rookie and a lot of these guys were undrafted, or late round picks. The only guys drafted High for Rodgers were Nelson, Adams and Watson and were all taken in the 2nd round. Rodgers was gone after Watsons rookie year but both Nelson and Adam's became the leading receivers for the team early in their careers with Rodgers even with key vets still on the team.

Even in his only full.year with the jets with lazard, Mike Williams and davante on the team, it was the 3rd year player in Wilson that led the team in receiving.

Where the F is the narrative of Rodgers not liking young receivers coming from? He's turned a lot of late round roster fills into NFL starters and has thrown to just about every rookie that has been thrown on his team.

Maybe just maybe the rookies or young receivers we have drafted recently that he had to work with just flat out weren't good picks.

I don't think Roman is the sharpest tool.in the shed. It's not AR that is keeping him off the field. It's Wilson and being injured doesn't help. You really think a 42 year old QB who is a first ballot HOFer wants to do anything but win? He's going to tell the coaches who he thinks the best receivers are for the team, as if the coaches don't know already. If they can't get on the same page as AR they don't deserve to be on the field.

There is just this really dumb *** narrative about Rodgers being some a hole that only cares about his buddies being on the field instead of rhe best players. That is flat out one of the most unintelligent narratives out there. I'm sure he wants Bernard to be on the field. The kid is talented. If he can digest the playbook he should be fine. From.everything I've read He's a hard working kid and he's the furthest thing from a diva so he should be fine. I would expect 500 to 650 yards from.him and maybe he even surprises because clearly Metcalf and Pittman are gonna get the attention. I think frankly it comes down to matchups.....if he's the slot kid, and rhe slot corners are soft GameDay he's gonna get his share

We should stop acting in the interest of a 42 year old QB that vacillated all offseason the past 2 years if he wanted to play here or not above what’s best for the team. If Rodgers wants control over who’s out there he needs to start playing like a HOF QB again-then he can wield that leverage…

It’s early in the process so can’t get too worried at this point. However, I do like what I’m seeing with this new HC and his staff. Much more attention to detail and communication. I like that they are moving TJ around rather than keeping him in one spot. Also read that McCarthy had the benches removed and that the pace at training camp is very up tempo. No one is just standing around waiting their turn but always involved in some type of drill.
I think McCarthy is all business and it’s not about him like the last guy we had here. I also think this is a much more competent and talented coaching staff than what we’ve had here.
Let’s see how this all translates on the field come September but still much too early to get concerned about anything.

AV......sounds like you don't particularly like the guy. Smart experienced QBs should be opinionated. They should speak their mind. They should call out players who mess up. The best receivers are not only the most gifted but the ones running the right route. The best receivers are the ones not dropping balls. The best receivers are the ones making the proper adjustments given the defensive scheme. I think Bernard will be fine. He's a Jesus kid with manners and ethic. He went to frigging Bama. He's versatile. In the event Bernard drops balls, makes the wrong adjustments, runs a bad route then he's not the best to be on the field. He has practice, he has away from practice, he has all the coaches, teammates and help at his disposal. If he wants it bad he will make it happen and Aaron will want him on the field.

I'm sure Aaron will assist Germie in his development but it's not Aaron's job to make him ready. It's on the rookie. If he doesnt contribute meaningfully this year it's on Germie.

McCarthy did put Rodgers through his famous QB school. I'm gonna try to get details on what his QB school entailed but it involved just about every nuance revolving around a QBs throwing .....wrist movement, release and release point, stance, hips, eyes, drops, even down to the fingers. How to scan a defense, balance......they were 7 hour sessions. Lots of very detailed mechanics and lots of film study. Remember Rodgers sat for a couple years under Farve but one of the reasons Rodgers went 24th in the first was his mechanics. The MVP Rodgers was rebuilt for 2 years while under Farve. McCarthy changed Aaron's slot release considerably. His famous wrist snapping release really was solodified under McCarthys tutelage.

What did they say about Rodgers in the draft?

Bernard is new he will have some hiccups. Wilson just is having an extension of his problems a year ago. I will tell you if both don’t work themselves onto the field and run the right patterns and plays their playing reps will diminish sooner than later.

They are stripping down Drew and changing almost everything. Both Drew and Howard are in McCarthy's QB school. Do some digging on Mike......he really helped Rodgers immensely with his mechanics. The talent was there without doubt, but without Mike, Aaron wouldn't have become what he became. The same methodology that McCarthy teaches, some of the greats are huge proponents of.......including Manning, Brady and Ben
