Those are lyrics from an old Talking Heads tune.
those blue and pink hairs are about to be property owners! woo. can't wait to see how they use common core maffs to maintain and upkeep their new acquisitions.
That’s exactly why we need to get this Iranian situation resolved quickly so that Trump and the administration can focus on getting our country right..There was a time when the political spectrum was like a pendulum, always swinging back once a particular ideology reached it's limit.
I don't believe that's the case anymore, and what's more troubling, there are those out there that support and encourage this.
Mamdani was only elected six months ago and had been mayor 4.5 months at time of this post. Businesses generally don't make and execute interstate relocation decisions that quickly - given logistics involved in a relocation it is almost impossible to do so. Nor does a business make knee-jerk reactions based on one election result. Most of those relocations would have already been in the pipeline prior to Mamdani's election and probably reflect longer term business conditions. Very few are likely to be directly linked to Mamdani's actions as mayor.
Mamdani, per se, isn't the reason for the current flight of businesses out of NYC, but a continuing trend of moving out of blue states to a more business friendly environment. The billionaires and highly wealthy are absolutely leaving NYC. They're coming down here to Florida.
We're rolling out the red carpet for them. They elected a moron before the Muslim communist. So this is not some new trend.
California is doing the same thing. Running the wealth off in droves. A lot of companies have moved to Texas or Florida.

NY, CA, WA, etc. are all having corporation's leave, taking their tax base with them. All the Dims will do is double down until there's nothing left to save.
