Draft Thread Rounds 2 and 3

I'm happy it wasn't a QB. Project 2027 looking better than ever.

And I again, I'm on record that if we like a QB with one of our 3rd rounders (Beck/Nessmeirer), go for it. Just use the other two picks on G and DB.
I'm looking at OG for the next pick...

Kiper talking about Bernard, wasn’t down on it but talking about Bernard with not great speed, guy ran a 4.48, great 10 yard split and real good three cone. He’s a sure handed receiver, blocker. Kept all of our third round picks, very happy.

Kiper is so overrated. Love the pick as well.

Bob is getting a warm reception

I don't get the impatience... I think the 3rd round is where we see the movement, and where the most value is
I don't know - our third round results have been abysmal.

Yeah, Kiper is wrong here. Like you said, near elite numbers on those two very important drills.
1.52 10yard split (80%*}
6.71 3cone (88%*)

The Jacksonville Jaguars select Texas A&M TE Nate Boerkircher at 56

Germie is a high floor guy. He’s going to be on the field year one and imo frontrunner to be the slot receiver. This is a very safe pick. Guy could be the next Hines Ward but worse case scenario we got Jarvis Landry.
Lol i was thinking his scouting report sounded a lot like the critiques they had on Hines coming out

Germie Bernard, 6’1”, 210 pounds, faced SEC CB’s, catches 60 passes, runs a 4.48 40.
Makai Lemon 5’11”, 188 pounds, did not run the 40. Wonder why.
Mel Kiper: “I don’t like Bernard’s speed.” Uhhh, OK. Sure thing Mel.
