Iran

American has literally - quite literally - never looked stronger.

Thanks for a much-needed belly laugh. The level of delusion within MAGA ranks is truly on a different level.

The United States Has Become a Rogue State

The second Trump administration has been far more disruptive, damaging, and dangerous than most observers—including me—expected, and the tragically inept war with Iran is driving that point home in spades. As a result, every country in the world is having to figure out how to deal with an increasingly rogue United States.

Belly laugh indeed. I just posted the New York Times and factual listings of how perfectly dominant this engagement has been.

You post a piece from a Harvard professor who calls it a "tragically inept war with Iran."

I'll use one of Floggy's favoritest words ever.

Delusional.

I just posted the New York Times

The New York Times that you and your pals have been deriding, dismissing, and ridiculing for over a decade now?

Sorry, I've been conditioned on this board to not pay heed to the New York Times. You've convinced me that it is part of the liberal, Soros, anti-Trump propaganda machine.

Well.... now what? Let's hope and pray ex-Fox News host, roid-rage Pete Hegseth, MAGA-wunderkind Stephen Miller, and golfing Donny will figure it out from here. 🤷‍♂️

Of course they do. Hell, I’m pretty sure I said early on that you aren’t winning this on bombing alone. They gotta convince Trump that we need to engage in a ground war. Never too early to start sowing that seed.

Send in ground troops under heavy cover to get the uranium, and get out. That'll set them back about 10 years.

You'll obviously go down with the MAGA ship, there was never any question about that. Shamelessly loyal to the very end. I hope that it will all have been worth it for you, kneeling in fealty, as you have.
How did this week's therapy session go? Do you bring coffee & pastries?

If it stings, it stings. Sorry about that, Zona. Trump is proving to be the utter buffoon everyone knew that he was.
Name the last time the New Yorker has published anything with a conservative slant. I can't do it and the Mrs has a subscription to it, so I see it in real time.

Is that supposed to portray Douglas MacArthur or George Patton?
It’s quite honor being portrayed as either of them.

Yeah Patton was out of line for slapping that soldier, but its always appropriate when you get slapped.

You’ve been conditioned all right.

The NYT is exactly what you were taught, so don’t be swayed.
But you’ve got to give credit where credit is due when they get it right.

Do you know who has unbridled, unmitigated TDS? All those who continue to kneel in fealty and blindly support a political movement, nary a critical thought.

Are your coffee beans ground in-house or are the pre-ground?

People support MAGA because of the issues, not the man coining the phrase, and because no one is perfect, we all see faults as we perceive them in the current POTUS. And by the way, this holds true for anyone, not just the leader of the free world.

As far as Iran's future goes, I hope life there can return to the pre-Islamic regime days where the rights of individuals can be respected.
And I'm hoping this can be done without military involvement on the ground. Not being privy to DOD, or DOW if you prefer intel, it's the best that I can do.

Tibs chose to ignore your question Blitz, so I thought to give it a try.

I'll say it Tibs - Trump is not God. He is a guy who, like me, wants the USA to be the best nation on Earth. He is flawed, uncouth, and self centered. But, he is doing much of what I would do in his place.

I applaud his wiping out a nation's leadership who for almost 50 years has threatened our nation, and is actively seeking nukes to hit us and our allies. It's just the smart thing to do. Same goes for the border wall, the crime fighting in big cities, drilling our own oil, removing those here illegally, calling the US media the trash that they are, etc.

Your girl Kamala would have been an absolute disaster beyond measure. That's just how it is.

Peace to the citizens of Iran. I hope the nazi-like leaders there are all gone soon.

What would you like to see happen in Iran? Long term

I dunno about long term, we're nowhere near pondering such events in the future.

Short term? How about being on the same page with the single, and only, ally in this attack on Iran, that is Israel.

The fact that Trump, Rubio and Hegseth can't even get on the same page with a *single* strategic military partner speaks volumes about the utter incompetence in the WH.

Used to watch pro wrestling growing up and one of Ric Flair's gimmicks was to slap his opponent across the face. About 20 years ago, there was a road rage incident in Flair's hometown of Charlotte where The Nature Boy allegedly slapped a motorist -- a young 20 something punk. When I heard that in the news I was thinking, "that punk! How could be press charges against Ric Flair for slapping the **** out of him? I would have said "Slap me AGAIN, Ric!"

Same thing with The General Bobby Knight lol.

Your heart is in the right place, Djfan, as is your patriotism. Sad to say, your views on Trump are based solely on your own wishes and desires, what you'd *like* to see, what you *think* you're seeing, as opposed to what is actually happening, and what he is actually saying and doing. But that's not your fault, that you hold him to such a lofty standard. We should do the same with all of our elected officials.

I hope he is able to somehow find a way out of this mess of his own creation. Not holding my breath at this stage, but still hoping for an outcome that is good for the U.S.

ah, yes. i fondly recall the voluminous rants you and Flog posted during Autopen Administration. The ones about the cocaine being brought into the White House, the gay buttsex in the congressional hearing room, the tyranny displayed during the covid crisis ... just off the top of my head ... those were your best posts.

the fact they do not exist means nothing.

but...we were told...by Flog... that we're being led around by our nose ring.

This is an indication that there is a lack of planning and coordination. But hey, at least the U.S. isn’t being lead around by its nose ring.

It's sad to me that you entirely missed my point. I will try to be clearer.

What is actually happening is making me happy. I would do much of the same things.

I hold him to a standard that he is not meeting. His personality is deeply flawed.

Most elected officials are crooks. He is not in the WaDC circle, so they hate him not supporting their crookery.

Of course my views on him are based on my own views. That's how the democratic election system works. Your bar babe Kamala was also judged by me by my own thinking. You do that same thing. That is how it works.

You are willing to put up with very destructive policies to make sure Trump is not in office, or successful now that he is there. I am not. That's where we differ.

You and Flog were separated at birth, indeed. You dodged and deflected.

When one of the main and pivotal voices of the Left, the NYT, has to admit this war is going STUNNINGLY, you know it's undeniable.

But you and Flog and others with TDS will work overtime to look for a way to demean and degrade every accomplishment this administration achieves, simply because of TDS.

It's tried, tired, and true. If Trump cured cancer, you would defend cancer as a means of resisting Trump.

Do you know who has unbridled, unmitigated TDS? All those who continue to kneel in fealty and blindly support a political movement, nary a critical thought.
Yes.
You incriminated yourself with the tired rhetoric in your second sentence.
