Crisis in Venezuela update

I'll update you guys tomorrow if there's anything to, thanks for the good wishes.

I've lived all my adult life under this regime and feel like I've been stolen from all my productive years. My engineering company, which I built with my family had to close about 6 years ago and all that was invested on it went to waste as all devaluated or became obsolete.

Most of my family and friends left the country looking for better opportunities in different parts of the world, I never left due to my daughter from my first marriage, I couldn't move on and leave her behind (her mom wouldnt ever let her go with me), and also because my parents were still here too.

I just hope I get my country back from these thieves and murderers, and start rebuilding it again.

What he is not accounting for is the big Iranian presence here, nevermind the Russians.

So if you want to have a serious threat to democracy in your own continent then go ahead and call us a new Afghanistan and let this powers be and grow in one of the richest countries in natural resources in America.

I like the gist of what he says, but still think that the middle ground of limited military action without going to war, in the hands of the POTUS has it's place at times.
 
Here is to the American intervention leading to a better Venezuela for the people of Venezuela.
Let's hope that American leaders do a much better job than they have in recent decades.

The people of Venezuela, the world and the US are all better if Venezuela becomes more like Japan and less like Iraq, Vietnam or Afghanistan.

I hope that you family, friends and community stay safe Litos, and come to speak of this day as a great move forwards.

I couldn't tell you how many times I've had to pick up crying parents and grandparents off the floor of the funeral home and help them to a chair when they walk in and see their child in a casket, dead from a drug overdose.

Yeah, but only coke comes from Colombia, not the vast oil and mineral wealth like Venezuela has. It's more likely that gas refineries and mining companies get busy in Venezuela soon while the jungle production of coca in Colombia remains.

Will Trump still plink boats -- and why not cargo planes -- running Colombian and Ecuadorian drugs into the US? He didn't take actions in his first term, so thus far it seems like the drugs was the rationale for regime change; guess we will find out cocaine distribution will now seeking new pathways.
