Crisis in Venezuela update

And do you see that as being better for you and everyone else in Venezuela?
Longterm at least.
**** "socialism", we had a better country before these parasites got in to power.

Those guys wear expensive watches and clothes, took over properties, own yatches and airplanes, stole cattle ranches, all while talking about how good is to be poor and how bad are the rich capitalists owners that put down the working people
So, your answer would be yes?

We should have a pool on how long it will be before we see American generals in Caracas, protecting American demand for cocaine from Columbia Venezuela.
We are just a bridge for drugs transportation, not processors, so as you say, they can negotiate cocaine with Colombia directly

exactly, like invading Afghanistan after 9/11.

What's the question again? If the country would be better without a criminal socialist regime? Yes.

But if the question is if I want an invasion ? Then no.

Before this guys, there were already US oil companies here , that's not a new thing. Same as Procter and Gamble, Chrysler, Ford, Chevrolet, Pirelli and many other international companies.

We were a main hub from where products where manufactured and distributed to other South American countries

Canada gave my politically persecuted aunt shelter when she had to flee the country. Now she is a resident and lives with my sister (who also got resident status and is a CPA accountant for a big firm) and her family.

I have huge appreciation for Canada, I even have two little Canadian nieces now.

I don't get how that has anything to do with my country.
Afghanistan didn't have anything to do with 9/11, except be a transit for those bad guys that so amazingly, with incredible precision, brought down the twin towers and then the bonus tower 7.

Venezuela is a conduit for drug smuggling, which is bad, but its worse that Chevron has been fuucked by Maduro and friends, so the drugs issue is used as the excuse to provide very cheap oil and control to the Americans.

It is their Manifest Destiny, and since Trump is sliding in popularity like all recent Presidents entering their second year of office, this looks to be his "crisis" to fight and control ahead of midterm elections next year.

It should be a good thing for many Venezuelans, I think, but the American track record in regime change is abysmal as Iran, Vietnam, Iraq, Ukraine and Afghanistan all prove. Maduro has done horrible things on top of Chavez bad works, but this upcoming re-colonization of Venezuela for the benefit of foreign corporations is about oil mostly, not drugs.

Hopefully, this will be helpful to you and your family.

I don't demand anything. Whom do Canadians require protection from, wise sage of Florida?

Much respect for those fleeing political persecution, and those bringing professional skills to better themselves, their families, and their communities.

I hope your little nieces enjoy a great childhood; perhaps one day they will become Olympic hockey players, gold medalists who keep those Yankees in the first loser spot.

The Russians and ChiComs mostly. But also from yourselves apparently because you Snowbacks continue to elect increasingly more communist leaning governments.

Well, truth be told United States is closer to becoming more politically like Canada than vice versa.

So, basically, **** JD Vance...yup. Or whatever his ******* name is this week.

You are ridiculous. What is your point, since you seem lost in your feebleness?

What is it that the Russians or Chinese are doing to Canada that requires American assistance? What kind of assistance and since you called out the need----be very precise---is needed from you all with yer big army?

You already know the answer to that.

Your Navy consists of 4 subs and 12 frigates...

So you cannot answer? Or don't you know?
I know. AND you know. I'm just trying to get you to acknowledge that you know it.

Nothing pisses me off more than foreigners running their cizock holsters about US policy moves, especially when the US provides them with a blanket of protection.

So who is gonna invade Canada? Only one leader in the past century or so has made public comments about his manifesting destiny to include Canada....but he wouldn't do it, because he would lose any election that included Canadian voters.

Are the Russians or the Chinese sneaking past our border folks ans setting up oil refineries or mines?

Your imagination needs larger boundaries, it seems.

Canada is being re-colonized in real time. Just watch.....

Hey Dizickhead,
Nobody has to invade you. The Russians or the Chinese could simply sail up to your Pacific coast and blockade you. The only thing stopping them from doing so would be the US Navy's Pacific Fleet. You have ZERO Nuclear deterrent, that comes from the USA as well. With out US Protection you Snowbacks are toast AZZHOLE.

Dipshit DBS,
If the Port of Vancouver, or the Port of Montreal were blockaded (how very last century) then Canadian imports and exports would all flow via the US......which is clearly better for the US.

On the nuclear deterrent, you are correct as Canada is still not a permanent member of the Security Council. As for the large northern tundra, where else would Canadians or Americans, even the simple folk like you, want to shoot down the Russian planes/missiles? For over 3 generations ( that's enough fingers and toes for you and at least two cousin/brothers) there has been this thing called NORAD. We just use it once a year to track Santa, but you could look it up and see that its run outta them mountains in yer Colorado. Let me spell that slowly for you N O R A D. Now go get somebody to help you look that up on your google.

If you need any more help with your strategic "thoughts", as it were, I'm happy to walk you through the parts where you need your hand held.

Go Steelers.

Let me break this down for you Barney style slapdick. Everything you just pointed out is contingent on the Goodwill and protection of the United States of America. Yes Norad uses northern Canadian airspace, but even if we didn’t have agreements, we would do it anyway and there’s nothing the Canadiens could do about it.

But I noticed that this butt hurt snark from you started when President Trump renegotiated all of our trade deals with Canada. America first means America first not Canada first and if you Canucks don’t like that that’s a you problem.

Wow, you sure drifted that quickly. Hope you feel better now.

Anyone that hasn't understood, for at least the past 150 years, that Canada's armed forces were a mere shadow of American might would have to be moron and willfully blind. So its good that you have come around to this realization. Too bad it took you so long.

You imply that I have some sort of Canadian bias or pride. With the exception of the men's national hockey team, I don't. It pisses off most Canadians that know me because I tell them repeatedly, and for the past 45 years or so, that one day all of Canada will be part of the greater North America because of resource allocation. It's pretty simple.

My objection recently has not been to Trump's characterization of Canada as the 51st state (he won't do that because it would cede Congress to the Dems for at least a generation), but rather that he is an idiot in describing tariffs. If you do not believe me look up his idiocy on coffee, oranges, bananas, etc and today's news from Costco, America's great retailer.

Lastly, you seem a bit infatuated with me.
While I'm flattered, I promise you that most other Canadians are nicer, better looking and will respond better to the garbage you type than me.

Costco attempting to sue over tariffs is just another virtue signaling moment, that will go nowhere.
Even if they should win a settlement, and I can't imagine what the basis of that decision would be, I can guarantee it would go straight into their pockets and not the consumers.
