Was it yesterday or Wednesday if next week???

Injured last season, with surgery of some sort recently from what I understand. There were 4-5 other teams he had visits with before the Steelers, so passing a physical maybe an issue.I believe he visits today?
However, my question is, why is the guy not playing football right now?
Hey man! He's 44 years old! He'll fit right into The Steeler Meadows retirement home, because even if the defense can’t hold… at least our residents can hold a conversation about the good old days.
Really?!?Asante Samuels Jr. had spinal fusion surgery and was released from the Chargers.. He is available now, cleared to play after his injury, to join interested teams. He just received physical clearance. A better question would be, will he be the same player than before that injury/surgery?
Considering our CB weaknesses, it is worth the risk in IMHO
Peyton Manning had it done to his neck before he went to play in Denver... its more common than you thinkSpinal surgery....and now you will play football? Insane. Tua had 5 concussions and still plays. Insane.
I read the neurosurgeon that cleared him is the same that works with the Steelers, so there's that. If someone knows his detailed medical status is that guyI realize they are highly conditioned pro athletes but there’s still the human element. I had spinal fusion myself and I cannot fathom playing tackle football! If he’s passed physicals and wants to, good on him and if he’s still got game , I’d love to have his help here. But I will watch every tackle wincing and praying he stands back up![]()
He had a surgery to fix a spinal issue if the internet articles are correct...I believe he visits today?

I am certainly not a doctor, as most of you could probably tell by now.if healthy this is a low risk high reward move, wonder how much he is willing to accept to risk his health playing.
Let's go with 'loves the game', Al - for $500!!!I am certainly not a doctor, as most of you could probably tell by now.
But in my unprofessional opinion, I would not consider him healthy to play such a physical game..
Dude, either loves the game very very much, or he needs the money very very much?
That's all we do around here, ***** about the Steelers and talk about those glory years. Huh, we're all in Steeler Nation Meadows if you think about it. "You remember when we would talk to the Formula 1 girls on the second version of the board?" or "Damn, I miss CAH" and "Whatever happened to Krutton"Hey man!
There ain’t nothing wrong with reminiscing about the good old days!

Is that like the first rule of Italian driving?According to tony soprano, apparently "remember when..." is the lowest level of communication

Not a doctor, but you did work at a tampon factory, so that counts for something.I am certainly not a doctor, as most of you could probably tell by now.

Peyton did it, but is tough to compare a QB to a CB. Peyton still put up good numbers but his passes looked awful. He was not physically the same. We should have some inside info on the surgery / recovery though. I still would not take the riskPeyton Manning had it done to his neck before he went to play in Denver... its more common than you think
We are the second oldest team in the league. Maybe this is why we haven’t heard of many nightclub drunken rampages lately from our dear players. He's 44 years old!
