Covid and the 2020 election showed us just how they could give two ***** about freedom, laws and legitimate democratic elections. Their lust for power and the desire to fundamentally change the United States is pretty clear.
They did so much illegal unconstitutional **** while vegetable state Biden was president, the whole lot of them should be imprisoned and exiled.

Of course the left would love to disarm the entire population to the point you couldn't fight back against them. All communists/socialists/marxists go this route.

As if they could possibly take away 300 million plus firearms from the population. That type of play would start a civil war that would make our first one look tiny and insignificant.

Perhaps they should stop degrading society. Which in some places in this country has gotten so bad,you'd be a fool to not be armed to the teeth.

They're just a power grid away from all hell breaking lose. They protect the criminals more than the law abiding citizens.

The policies they've implemented are leading to massive moral decay.

Thankfully we greatly outnumber them and need to keep pressing a full counter on them while bringing people back to the light away from this growing darkness that is being nourished with twisted perverted logic that allows no dissent or debate.

It's pretty easy to see our societies decline if you scale it over decades back, then see the point we are at now. Which is horrific to look at.

The next 10,20,30 years is make it, break it time. I think we're very close to our expiration date. I hope I'm wrong and we're turned away from the growing wickedness from within.

When verbiage like this is repeated over and over not only do a significant percentage of people actually begin to believe it, but there are also unstable individuals that feel the need react violently to it.

Long gone are the days when I carried a rifle on the school bus because I had practice after school, but if this insane rhetoric doesn't stop it will only escalate.

If I counted correctly, I've lived through 14 different administrations and have managed to survive every one of them.
What we're currently facing will only subside when the Democrats begin talking policy rather than focusing on a pisssing contest.

I think Mental illness is the biggest problem. Social media as well. Everyone is nameless, faceless and fearless. People say and do what they want without fear of repercussions. Look at the **** that gets thrown around, the name calling, the lies about others, even politicians do it. We are reaching a point where humans no longer view other humans as human.

When we were kids, we had guns. I often took rifles, pistols and shotguns to school in the truck so I could hunt after school. In those years, we also got into fights. We would stand and scrap. Never once did someone go to their car and get a weapon to kill the other kid after getting their *** kicked.

So what changed? Was it access? No, you used to be able to order guns through the sears catalog and western auto. What changed was no one interacts in person. No one talks. We just hurl insults, call names, demonize those that disagree, and we are trying to normalize mental illness and pedophilia. ****, we are letting kids believe they are cats, dogs or whatever. There shouldn’t be any confusion. The country is in the midst of the largest mental health crisis the planet has ever seen. And what do we do about it? Feed people pills that only make it worse. I’m surprised it’s not worse.

People having guns is not going to prevent Tyranny. If the military turns on the citizens then the citizens have no shot. The govt can attack from out of sight with bombers, cruise missiles, etc etc. That's not even considering tanks / helicopters, etc etc....A bunch of people with semi auto guns is not going to cut it. The question is would the military get involved. I think if things got serious enough they would. If a ton of people with guns started marching on the Whitehouse I dont think they would get too far before things got ugly. With that being said I don't think the govt should be taking guns. The only people who would have guns would be police, military, and criminals. Citizens would have no way to protect themselves. The main issue is not guns it is people are unstable. I do not know what the solution is for that unfortunately

Not a chance. EVERY active duty soldier, and vet, that I know is fiercely a defender of the constitution, and NOT of a party or shift to totalitarian government. Some may jump on board with tyranny, but a vast majority won't. The military is not some monolithic group of robots.

That won't happen.

Mental illness along with the other social issues aka -isms” are given too lenient of pass to the point people who fit the description use it to literally get a “free out jail” card.


I won’t argue that there are people who truly do need help whether it’s mentally, addictions/vices etc. However these extremes have warped morals, realities/perceptions to where we have dehumanized others to get ahead and/or feed those addictions.

Sure some will side with party, but many defend the constitution over anything. Any normal American doesn’t want to attack a fellow American despite different beliefs. The constitution allows us to live that way.


It’s the extremist who fantasize these types of situations which are very unlikely to happen as you stated.


Way too many logistics and nobody is answering to tyranny.

While I will concede that there are more that would now then there was when I served, I can tell you those that would are still very much a minority.

They’ll travel the planet to fight wars against tyranny, but they will not attack Americans to support tyranny here, whether it’s Trump or anyone else.

While I’ll acknowledge that with the way things are going we may actually see Americans fighting each other, I’m honestly not sure how much of a role the military would play, at least initially. It’s something I hope we never see, but man, I don’t see how you avoid it anymore. I can’t see any type of reconciliation between the left and the right for any reason. It’s not just two different philosophies anymore, it’s two different nations, two different worlds. They’re similar in that they call themselves Americans and that’s just about it. Sad when you think about it.

I get wanting to clean up crime. Still have to do it in accordance with the law.

There’s always going to be extremist on both sides. That’s just life.

I would say the problem with both sides is a strong root in their beliefs. Those beliefs clash now in person thanks to the accessibility we have at our fingertips. But I also think the biggest culprit is we live in a country where we enjoy a lot more freedoms than most, and the cost of those freedoms are the spread of fake information, accusations etc which adds gasoline to a fire. As a result we’re seeing Americans fighting fellow Americans its all happening now under the guise of left vs right. Liberal vs Conservative.

I just don’t see the military as a whole taking part in it. And if they do. Much like any other facet of life there are conservative and liberal service members. These are service men who have family, neighbors etc that weigh into the decisions.

It’s a sad time when we legitimately have to think about these scenarios

Afghanistan we were too worried about civilian casualties. We could have wiped Afghanistan off the map. Vietnam was a cluster all around. We also didn't have today's technology, but the whole military gameplan was terrible. They didn't have a clear objective or a tactical gameplan.
