Steelers cuts with some more surprises

The Brownouts still have QB Watson as well. On IR so most likely gets called up sometime this season.
Can’t trade or cut him. Owe him waaaay too much money for that.
He actually played well when he was down here in Houston. Too many massages I suppose.

So quietly Watson is going to become a huge issue this year... the Browns are planning for him to miss all season and thus use insurance to recoup part of his money and get cap relief

He wants to play

Its going to get ugly by years end when they are trying to keep him on IR when he is healthy enough to come back

I hope he doesn’t lose a year of eligibility in their contract………………

Salute the nation

Really? I did not know that!
The Brownouts as I call them are attempting to manipulate the IR. Man this could get messy with the NFLPA.

I wonder what the record is for most times traded in nfl history? He is up to three now

Looked it up... the record is four... so if they trade him again at the deadline he will be in a 3 way tie for most all time🤣
I wouldn't be too hard in him, in order to be traded a player has to have trade value.

Nichols, Hurleman and Galbreath should be practice squad guys.
Totally agree. Galbreath has the receiving skills for sure, probably needs to get a little bigger and improve his blocking.
Mark Robinson a bit of a surprise. I guess Bruener makes the 53.
Not too surprised, since Bruener's a legacy player, and his old man still works in the organization. And I thought he played pretty well, too. Robinson is decent, but he's clearly reached his ceiling at this level.

Right now he has trade value for possible potential, just wait till he starts to get cut a few times

Id imagine Robinson was probably more sp. Teams based. He hasn't been able to lock down his position in the years he was in Pittsburgh. Just can't cover. And yes. If all things are equal one guy is top scouts kid.

Cam Johnson. Is that a surprise?

I’ve said it many times
Ya never pay a punter 3 million per
Thought it was a dumb signing
Hundreds of capable guys fighting for 32 spots

Slap a league min guy in there and be done with it

Unless your plan is to feature the punter A LOT

And if that is your plan, ya should be fired

…so what you’re saying is that there may be no happy ending?
If they are trying to manipulate the IR which I don’t know that for sure, then it will cause issues with the players association and the league.

Leal Gone. PS?

Leal was never a guy they knew how to use... it wouldnt surprise me if he were out of football quickly nor if he caught on with a team that uses tweeners well and became a star... guys like him are very system dependent... and we are more... well lets just say this aint no Lebeau defense anymore

He's much better suited for a DE in a 4-3 system. 6'4" 290lbs, he's not athletic enough for OLB in our system, and a little on the light side for DE in ours as well. He was raw coming out, and our coaching staff certainly didn't do anything to help that out...

He’ll get picked up by Philly’s PS
Get called up late in the year
Get a ring 🤣
