Official Day 2 Draft Discussion May 1st

It seems it was the best pick of the 1st or 2nd round. smh
 
Eh, an old Darryl Green once shut down Randy Moss. Troy was short. So is Gay. Give the kid a chance.
 
Most WRs will be able to block him easily on running plays. Our secondary is going to be so tiny with Shamarko back there now. The TEs and WRs keep getting bigger and our secondary keeps getting smaller.
 
Can he ride all the rides at Kennywood?

Darrell Green ran a 10.08 - 100m. He also ran 10 flat in practice. If Golson had that speed and not 4.5 speed - who would complain?
 
I'll give the kid all the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. He's in B&G! He NEEDS to bring it!
 
He's a ballhawk in a position of need.
 
This is as bad as the Troy Edwards pick. Just overmatched for the NFL.

for most of it he has had Troy, Ike and Ryan Clark....those three were pretty good together. Gay showed improvement last season also...the lack of pressure up front makes the group look worse than they probably are...

they need improvement, but haters like you are just going overboard
 
A cornerback who ranked fifth in draft class in QB rating in passes thrown his way, plus he actually has ball skills. Probably a round early, but they were going to have to reach if they wanted a cornerback with the way things were falling.
 
He's an inch shorter than Troy, for whatever that's worth.
 
he is a slt corner at bet and we wasted a #2 pick on him with bigger better CBs on the board, typical luxury pick fr the Tomberts, see Archer last year.
 
Hopefully Golson makes the team, all the other corners we draft never do.

The only benefit I see in this guy is he has a nack for the interception. Sixteen in his college years. Ten this year alone.

We were terrible in turning the ball over.
