I thought the pick itself was pretty dubious since the guy had 4.5 sacks. No, not in 2024, but in his 3-year college career. Exactly 1.5 sacks per year for 3 years.

Yes, his combine was amazing. Got it. I presume the Bengals believed that NFL offensive tackles would look at the combine results and just wave him into the backfield while college tackles were not aware of the amazing 10-yard split and just blocked him.

So the NCAA probably wont let him go back and play, but if they did the NFL is just gonna close that loophole going forward

One thing I have learned about unions is that while they fight tooth n nail for what the current members have... they will always surrender stuff for future workers starting to get more stiff for the current members...

So the NFLPA will gladly give up draft rights to get .01% extra money in the cap or something, cause tge guys voting on it already are past tge draft abd wont care about it

He could TRY to go back to college, but it would have to go through litigation, and by the time all that took place, regardless of the outcome, the season would likely be over. The NCAA would just paperwork his lawyers to death to drag it on and on. He could play in a different league tho...

Sentiments like that and much much worse would’ve been the norm around here back in the glory days of the site. Back when the go-bungles hate was at its apex and that Jesus guy from that site was public enemy number 1. Forgot his actual name, but it had Jesus in it.
 
Really the bungles shouldn’t be slipping bullish!t verbiage in there acting like the player and agent will just adhere to it.
