Because the USA has been doing it. You know, welfare people feel ripped off if someone else isn't paying for their stuff.

Reminds me so much of Kipling's "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" :
"As I pass through my incarnations in every age and race,

Slippery rock grad. I know the days of having to drive right across the boarder to the bar(forget the name) to drink.
Annnnddd the cops waited on the other side when we came back. **** show.
As far as the elks. It’s crazy. Night out, food, drinks, maybe 40-50. Go to other local bar, almost 100
Thursday nights were dart night and at the time I was pretty good at it.
Wouldn't get home until 3 AM and getting up for work at 6 was a challenge.
