April 2026 Draft in Pittsburgh

I'm with you, but we might have to wait until 2027. I don't think that Arch sat around for two years behind Ewers just to start for one season at Texas.

If he is projected as a top 10 pick he would be STUPID not to go to the NFL.

Why? Going to a bad team just as he turns 21 with fewer than 15-17 starts in college is a great way to end a career early. Texas will give him a bag to come back.

This fever dream is being played out all over Pittsburgh as if the league is scripting it.

Likely not coming out, if he does, Steelers likely not finishing high enough in the draft order to pick him, Steelers likely not making the best offer to trade up, and if the team at the top doesn’t have a franchise QB why would they trade away the rights to Manning?

Steelers are going to stand pat and take a guy like Allar.

He injures an elbow ligament or blows out a knee going back for another year and the loss of not only contract money but potentially endorsement deals, media deals…etc will make any NIL money he gets look like chump change.
