If Rudy Struggles

That is 2 first rounders and a third. A HOF QB who was probably under 80 QBR in first half of games. Now Ben might have been able to use Franchise ability and game sense to manipulate some things in second half but. I'm betting Ol' Lefty (and not the retired QB) that at least the biggest problem is indeed the playbook.
 
Playbook is dictated by the game philosophy of the Head Coach. No way to fix the playbook, without a new game philosoph.

I think a lot is predicated on the HC being somewhere else next year. Which I'm currently asking Santa for Christmas. However, with job on line maybe just maybe he wouod consider something else.I mean as ****** a person as Todd Haley was it wasn't like this.

Fordy gets his wish. at Christmas no less. I hope for the best. but this offense cannot get the stench of Canada off them this year. need a new playbook and a training camp
 
For the record I don’t expect a lot from Rudolph. Just more than we have seen from Pickett or Trubisky. My guess is 20/30 200 2/1.

AR2 hired Hailey, and gave him control of the O, when he “left” Tomlin was given control back because he “learned his lesson”.

I tend to agree that Rudolph did better than the fanbase gave him credit for… the scheme held him back and he took more blame than he should have because it was the first time we saw that philosophical shift we had made…

However i don’t really have faith the Oline will protect him.. now what I think is going to happen is he will be trying to prove himself, so he is going to stand in and take shots and get himself killed

If 1 game could do that. Coming off the bench QBs can give a false perspective. Just like going into the game the Bengals backup had outperformed Joe Burrow.

Is anyone thinking they should dump Joe? That Bungles QB came back to reality today. Rudolph will too.

But if this was a closer game who knows how many yards Rudolph would have had. I mean he threw the ball like 3 time in the 4th quarter.

I knew it would get lost on you. This season one has played better than the other. My point is nobody should be calling for a career backup to start long term.

You are the king at comparing everything. Only good when you do it huh?❄️

Nobody is saying Kenny is Joe, but he hasn't been labeled a career backup yet.

But by all means continue foaming at the mouth.
 
The other thing I noticed about Rudy… is I believe he threw one ball in the middle of the field..everything else was outside hashes..
Slant to 14 for 6 was the only ball I recall between the hash marks?

Dare I say he ran Canada’s offense almost to perfection?

Watch Rudy in the red zone. That is the area I wait for improvement. I think he has definitely passed Mitch. Thankfully...
