Penguins 23-24

We will see tonight........I watched some of that game between the Knights and Kings last night and the Kings are no joke. 7 straight road wins for them.

Might be the best team they have played aside of the Avs.

With a backup goalie, I have a bad feeling about this one.
Pens have no defense to help the poor Sweed out either. The offense needs to get on their horse tonight boys!

Was wondering if Carter would play tonight...Yep. Will be interesting to see if he wakes up against his former team

Geno takes a 10 count to seven!

This is why we need a goon.

Z had a rude awakening. Good to see him bounce back up.

That was a pretty sweet goal right there.. 3-2 Pens

Man the defense was not on point for Hellberg again. 3-3

I'll take a point against this team.. 2 would be better...

Hell yeah!!!

Nevermind....

Yeah. Nobody stepped up for him. Good thing he came back in.

Pens liked the wrap around last night. Sid scored on it and Rust OT winner was one. Good road trip for the team.

Man what a turnaround from a couple weeks ago
It is a roster with a lot of new faces. I expect them to find their stride now. Of course I think they are still a few trades away from being complete. I liked the 3rd line last night. Eller and his line look to finally get the hang of things. Eller’s short handed goal is what the guy can bring come playoff time(granted the boys make it)

In typical fashion I was in a coma last night for the 3rd and OT but that is impressive sweeping the Cali teams like they did. I watched the OT this AM and Rust being denied, then coming right out and saying "here, hold my beer" was awesome.

That backup goalie for the Kings has a weakness on those wrap arounds. Sid got him on one in the first period.

I wonder if Carter will be a healthy scratch on Saturday. The 4th line seemed to have a lot more jump with him on the bench, sorry to say. He's a heck of a competitor but I think his tank is just empty.

I agree. He's classy, accomplished, and willing. He's just done.

Quick question:

Didnt watch game....saw we were out shot significantly, but won.

In your opinions---Do we win this game with Jarry between the pipes last night?

I did see him give a little extra shove in the corner to the guy who cold cocked Geno.

I think so but tough to say. I think the team focused more on D with Hellberg in goal. The guy does take up a lot of space but once his momentum starts going in one direction, probably tough for him to recover.

LA was tough and they'd just returned home from Las Vegas and had their backup goalie in there. Will be interesting to see how they match up in Feb when LA comes to town.

He’s a respected veteran for sure. But definitely shows his age. I won’t knock on his effort. He does try. Last night against his former team. He gave extra but the team does need to get younger if they’re trying to win with the aging 3
