Who misses the old block style numbers?

Id be for it, but there are a dozen meaningful things this franchise needs to worry about before the whole round or block debate. I will celebrate SB#7 the same for either...

The Steelers are able to trot out in their hideous "bumblebee" uniforms once or twice a year. It would not be difficult to switch back to block numbers full time or at least once a year as their "throwback" jersey.

Sad thing is, they almost always win when they wear the Killer Bees.

yeah, you're right, it wasnt the whole team wearing them. And no, I think its over done. We're not the ******* ravens or falcons with the all-black bullshit

Never said all black, I don't like that look either, I just liked the black chin strap.

Funny, because if it weren't for the numbers on the bumble bee jerseys, I think I'd like them more.

I also think that both the bumble bees and throwbacks look a lot better in night games for some reason.

i might be the only guy on the planet who likes the Bumble Bee throwbacks...

I don't just hate the bumblebees because they're ugly, I hate them because they aren't even accurate. They're "throwing back" to something that never existed.

Where is the inaccuracy? I know the white in the number block are not correct and the nametape but those had to be changed for television....those unis were used.

Yes, the white in the number block is wrong and those original numbers are much smaller than what they wear now. And the stripes went around the whole jersey as opposed to how they stop on the new ones and have a large solid black, vertical stripe on the sides. Probably did it because of the material or whatever, but it's still inaccurate. The '62 throwbacks they wore before these were much more accurate.

I like most prefer the block number, however, I really do like the shoulder patch logo that was added with the new number. Id like to keep that. As for the throwbacks, If it werent for the socks, I think I can learn to live with them, though I would like to see them use the yellow shoulder (bat wing?) jersey that had a short shelf life.
