Blitz, no offense but did you forget to take your "Wake the **** up" pills????? Boobie is showing us his negative reputations he has received. He thinks it will pull sympathy his way and get us to leave him alone. I know an amazing thing that would FREE him of everything.............. ALL he has to do is answer those three / four Questions he's been asked over and over........... HONESTY would be the key factor of course. If he came clean MANY here would see him in a different light or maybe no light as he would be permanently banned.

This seems like it should be real simple for the next CBA.
All rookie contracts are 3 years ( team will know by then what they have ).
Player would still be young ( 23-25 years old ).
Next contract can be however many years they deem for whatever amount of money they deem while player is in their prime.
While I don't believe in guaranteed contracts for the NFL, the signing bonus the player receives cancels out the option of the team cutting the player.
Players always think they're underpaid and want more money, but can never admit when they've lost a step and should really take a pay cut. Players won't willingly give up money. This will NEVER change.
The rookie wage scale and slotting is a must and should not change. It keeps from burying all teams in cap hell for drafting a bust.
