Your top two worse Steelers losses ever.

2001/2004 AFC Finals couldnt sleep for nihjts was so angry
Jessie James game this was bad as I had guests over I was watching in my man cave and at ruling lost it where I wore repeatedly for 10 minutes and throwing x360 controllers and Cola cans.

Shortly after that game, I was at work in Phoenix and a rather large, person of color woman, came into the pharmacy. I was at the counseling window going over her medication with her, as she stood there in her Stillers tee shirt. With my last question to her, I causally asked, was it a catch? The skies opened up, her eyes filled with fire, and her BP probably went up 30 points! "Damn right it was a catch!" Everyone in the clinic heard her, it was epic.
I was at that game.

1. Losing the Super Bowl to Dallas.

2. 1994 AFCCG loss to Chargers..
Reverse those for me.... 94 for tge Steelers hands down the worse ever for any sports event followed by the pirates getting put out by bream and the isles upsetting the threepeat for the pens

I always find it interesting that lists like this one include the SB loss to Dallas. Of course, a SB loss has an inherent level of magnitude and disappointment because the team was so close. However, back then (at least as I recall), the NFC generally and Dallas in particular were strong. My recollection was being excited for the game but thinking that the Steelers had very little chance to win. Moreover, I remember after the game being pretty happy that the Steelers actually made it close in the 2nd half. I have a hard time thinking of it as one of the worst losses. That said, I, like many others, may still have not gotten over Neil O'Donnell forgetting the Steelers were in black jerseys.

I would be curious why others view that one so bad (other than the general it was the Super Bowl, which I can appreciate).

They lost to dallas.....******* dallas

how the hell can you be "happy they made it close" **** that

They were down 3 driving for the go ahead score and the ******** hits brown in the chest for the 2nd time with no Steeler WR even in view.

Very little chance with that defense?
The Steelers were kinda like that anti-establishment didn’t give a damn who was the opponent. Neil 0’donnell screwed it up

I'm surprised no one mentioned the playoff loss to the sorry *** Browns last season. Not only was it tough but it was flat out embarrassing. It may not have been so bad had it been a regular season game. Instead, it was a playoff game that ended our season. Sitting on that loss all offseason sucks. I probably won't feel good about until the Steelers beat the Browns *** the next time they play.

My other tough loss was the 94 Championship loss to the Chargers.

Playoff loss to the Chargers.
SB loss to the Cowboys.
Honorable Mention: Playoff loss to Denver and Tim Tebow.

Didn't Tebow complete like 10 passes in that game ? Our COACHING was the biggest loss in that game.

My first ever in person game at three rivers stadium. We were playing the Eagles. I was gutted because we'd come back from some sketchy Kordell play with a big day from the Bus and a fumble recovery for a touchdown by Joey Porter. The Eagles tied it at the death and then won in overtime with the D on its knees.
Gutted as I'd met Stlrs4Life and a bunch of others at the tailgate before hand. PittCharlie was there too. The loss was a kick in the teeth though.

The 2001 AFC Championship game is the other one that sticks in my craw. Special teams errors and 3 INTs by Kordell. Such a ****** ******* game.

Hell....the Steelers were down 20-7 in the 4th quarter. Kick a FG to go down by 10 and then recover an amazing onside kick and then ram down for a touchdown to go down by 3. Kirkland then smashes Aikman and the Steelers are about to win the game. Only then, the most amazing cringe QB showing in a SB game throws a mirror INT exactly the same as one he threw in the first quarter. If not for that the Steelers win that game. They held Emmet to like 59 yards running the whole game and only like 9 in the second half. Cowboys were better my ***.....

Super Bowl XXX
AFCCG 2001/2004 knowing we lost to cheaters
AFCCG 1997 - still see Romanowski mocking Kordell

Guess I am forgetting losing to a ****** Packers team too in the Super Bowl. So yeah there's that one too.

He threw for over 300 but a couple of them were real long. Simple fact is we were outplayed that day.
