Last year I never thought We'd be skipping the Super bowl again this year. But since the New England Patriots are once again in the super bowl We'll still have a party for friends and we'll decide on what to watch instead and we will watch the halftime show.
Again the Patriots got calls over turned in their favor, we're able to steal the home field advantage from the Steelers and We all will show the NFL that we are fine with that by tuning in to watch this fake game. I can't think of a reason why any of you would watch after getting screwed by the officials. I stand for honestly and I don't stand for being lied to and having my money stolen by buying tickets to a game which I believed was a fair and honest game. I won't add to the pockets of a league that is fine with New England's year in and year out garbage. Which points directly to it being fixed. Ok so your going to watch to see the Patriots lose? Really just like the fake show last Year? Are the Eagles the team America wants to beat the Pats? Is it honestly possible for the Eagels and thier back-up QB to beat the Pats? On paper this should be a viewers nightmare. Ratings should be the lowest in many years. But because of the script it will have giant ratings just as the 100% fake WWE!
I Hate to tell you but the NFL isn't 100% on the up and up.

I'd really like to watch Tom Brady play in the Pro Bowl.

As Steeler fans we are almost forced to pull for perhaps the most classless fan base in the NFL. The alternative is New England ties us for most super bowl victories.

Go Eagles!

Will be watching to 1) root against the Cheating Bastiges From New England and 2) my bud has a huge all-day SB party at his house every year where we start out making beer in the morning and more beer, cigars, and mass quantities of food are involved the rest of the day. His wife is a chef so the food is awesome and she does "theme food" every year based on where the teams are from.

Why would you want to ruin such a good time by watching the *s and iggles?

Lobster and Cheese Steak this year?

Yep im not following the super bowl at all... maybe ill throw a party and watch anything but, more likely ill just play video games through it... ill make sure every tv is tuned to anything but the super bowl... screw their ratings... anything less than a 20% drop will be a disappointment

**** the cheats won't be watching as I don't watch anything with them in it. (Unless they play the Steelers)

Not that I would hundred percent watch any game that didn't have the Steelers in it. I guess it just depends on the year, mood, etc.

PS

**** the cheats

For the first time in 35 years I won't watch it.

No boycott, just don't want to see that team again.

Maybe if the eagles are up by 10 and Foles is kneeling I'll watch the final minute but I'm not countig on it.

Last year's **** show was enough for me. I'll stick to hockey. Can't deflate hockey pucks, tape **** or **** with radios.

So this year is Philly Cheese steaks and **** sandwiches?

Not even ******* turning it on. First time in my lifetime.

I blame the Steelers. They have the talent, as much if not more than either team, yet another bag of moldy tangerines for Steeler fans to hold on to.

Well, there is the asteroid.

http://miami.cbslocal.com/2018/01/24/asteroid-super-bowl-sunday/

CBS Local — The Earth will get an interstellar pregame show on Super Bowl Sunday as a large asteroid is scheduled to pass by the planet just hours before the big game.

According to NASA, 2002 AJ129 is a medium-sized asteroid that’s between one-third and three-quarters of a mile across. While the giant space rock has officially been listed as a “potentially hazardous asteroid” because of its size and relative closeness to the Earth, scientists say 2002 AJ129 will still be 2.6 million miles away from the planet when it flies by.

“We have been tracking this asteroid for over 14 years and know its orbit very accurately,” NASA’s Paul Chodas said in a statement. “Our calculations indicate that asteroid 2002 AJ129 has no chance — zero — of colliding with Earth on Feb. 4 or any time over the next 100 years.”

The Super Bowl asteroid is predicted to pass by the Earth at around 4:30 p.m. ET on Feb. 4., just two hours before the Eagles and Patriots kick off that night. Rival fans who may have been hoping for some cosmic interference to stop Philadelphia and New England from playing will be disappointed to know that 2002 AJ129 isn’t even the closest near-miss in the last four months.

In October, a house-sized asteroid came within a mere 26,000 miles of the planet. NASA actually used that close encounter to test how well its planetary defense system would work if an asteroid were really on a collision course for Earth.

I'll be watching, I'll keep you sourpusses updated on the score :biggrin-new:

Excluding games when they were playing the Steelers, I haven't watched any *pasterisks games in 2-3 years, including Super Bowls.
