WTF am I missing?

The 93.7 shows are somewhat split between hopium and Show Me in Detroit. I'm with the latter group. Detroit is down this year, but they have the best offense in football and they're great in that dome.
Also look at their pattern coming off a loss. Very favorable. Then you look at the Steelers coming off a win, not so favorable.

Pretty sure this is pointing to a L. The question is will it be a competitive loss or a embarrassing loss.

You know the ones you should turn the channel at halftime.

Poni is a shock poster. He just says crap just to stir. I don’t even believe he believes even half of the crap he throws out.
Oh definitely, he's a tool, both guys on the PM show are tools, lol Mueller is the one I can't stand the most on that entire station.

We get our *** kicked by Buffalo, fans, radio shows, ex players are calling for Tomlin to go, it's time, blah, blah, and everything else.
Now we beat Baltimore with a less than 100% Lamar, where we give up 420 yards to them, lost the Time of Possession by 7 minutes, were out gained something like 200-10 in the 4th qtr and won because of a dumb rule, I know it's the rule and we won.
Then beat a 6-7 team in the cold that never wins in the cold and a QB that never wins in the cold and a team that quit.

Now there are fans calling and radio shows saying we can beat anyone, we have the best QB in the AFC playoff race, saying we're playing the best football in years, Tomlin saved his job and the fire Tomlin chants were premature.

So after those two wins suddenly we can beat anyone, we're playing better than we have in 7 or 8 years, Tomlin saved his job??? It's not like we kicked the Eagles *** then turned around and beat down Denver, we beat two teams that aren't even in the playoffs.
Coryea, I believe what it is fans just want to believe.
They want to think their team is right now and have turned things around and will make a run in the playoffs.
Let us now focus on reality and perspective looking at the last three games.
Getting thoroughly beaten down by the Bills at home where they were badly outcoached and outplayed.
Winning in Baltimore where let’s face it, they were gifted that win. Outgained badly giving up over 200 yards rushing where it took two strange penalties to give them the win.
Then a not so good Miami team with a bad QB that won four straight against the dregs of the league.
Playing in frigid temps in Pittsburgh was a huge disadvantage for the Dolphins but let’s not mistake how bad the Dolphins are.
So which team are they? The team that looked totally beaten down against the Bills where Rodgers looked like a 62 year old QB or the team that got outgained two to one in Baltimore and was the recipient of two generous penalties and the last game where they beat up a bad Dolphin’s team with a bad QB in frigid temps?
I think they tend to reflect more toward the former and trust me, if they get beat up Sunday in Detroit and then folllow up with a loss in Cleveland where they haven’t won in a while, the fans will be calling the talk shows wanting Tomlin fired again.
As far as the sports talk shows in Pittsburgh like 93.7 The Fan, they are wishy washy. Remember, their job is to stimulate the fans and create interest and generate topics. They lose the next two these radio shows will then change the narrative about Tomlin needing to be replaced. Then if they lose to the Ravens in the final game then Tomlin should step down. It’s the same schtick every year when they collapse at season’s end.
This team has far too many holes and Rodgers although having two nice games gives you pause on whether he can continue on that trend.

Perspective. The lowly Browns beat Miami 31-6 and it wasn't cold at the mistake by the lake last October.
And Detroit beat clowns, bungles, and rats.

For those saying that Lamar is not 100%. It is the end of a long season. What fo9tball player is really 100%? Excuses like that just d9nt work in football. Rogers isn't 100% and old. No one is making excuses for him.

This year is just like the last 10 years or so. They show enough that everyone believes thier is a light at the end of the tunnel. And then the light turns 9ff.

This is where my money would be placed, if I were a betting man.

All true, but he barely ran vs us and in the games leading up to that, that's is what makes that offense go, so him not being able to run like his normal self is alot different than Rodgers non throwing wrist injury.

He ran against us. The announcers gushed all over how he was "back".
If he is healthy enough to start, he is healthy.

He didn't look like his usual self, definitely not running like he did last year at this time when we played. Yeah if you're healthy enough to start, you're healthy, but that doesn't mean he's actually 100%. Cam played hurt last season and you could tell he wasn't the same.

Oh I hope the thoughts didn't go away because of a win or two. I predict we finish out the next three games, 2-1 with a major beat down by Detroit. Garrett beats TJ's record in that game, and we beat the rats at home.

We get wiped in another Wild Card playoff game, and we are back with the same gang next year.

'Tis the Season

Detroits defense has been down, but the offense has alot of weapons. Depends which Goff shows up. He could throw 4ints or 4Tds. Their RB is top 10 in rushing and also has 500yrds receiving. The games i watched Detroits oline looked very good. They have 2 WRs in the top 10 for yrds and TDs. Going to be tough to stop. I would come out run heavy and try to limit their possessions. I don't think our defense or offense can keep up.

The talking heads and half the fans hate post covid Rodgers.
They can't tell the truth. Which is
Rodgers has enough left to bail out Mike Tomlin and keep his hopes for another non losing season alive.
Without him the ship would have sank months ago.

We gave up 420 yards to the Ravens and Lamar isn't nearly 100%, gave up 217 yards rushing, gave up something like 200 yards in the last qtr and if not for a stupid rule, we would've given up 30 points, Baltimore had the ball for 33 minutes.
Tua sucks in the cold and so does Miami, they haven't won a game below 40 degrees, let alone single digits, in forever.
I agree, we got manhandled by Baltimore and should have lost that game.
But my positive spin on that is.
Baltimore just shutout the Bengals, almost full strength Bengals.
Our win looks alot better to me after last week.

Tua does suck but Miami had Buffalo on the ropes in the first matchup and beat them handily the second time around.
Every team is beatable this year.
I think the toughest 2 would be Rams and New England

This crap has been happening ever year for a good while now. I know this movie well. They need to run the table and win a playoff game.

This same scenario has happened one too many years to get all excited about anything.

They have to break the curse of Groundhog Day.
