They should call Detroit about Jameson Williams.
They paid St Brown a ton of money. Their offense is built on the run game and play action passing. The passing offense goes through St Brown, then Laporta, then maybe Williams. Williams has just 11 receptions in 5 games. He's in year 4 and there's no way they can pay to keep him with what they're paying St Brown and what they'll have to pay Gibbs at RB and Hutchinson on defense.
The other reason they may trade him is rookie Isaac Teslaa. He looks great and has 2 TDs already this year. He can step into the WR2 role for them.
Steelers have cap space to sign him to a long term deal and pair him with DK. As DK gets older, Williams can become WR1.
If the steelers line up with DK and Williams, every defense has to take a step back. It would let Austin play slot where he could also emerge.
