WR Trade Market/CAIII

not that I’m speculating, but Alan Lazard stayed behind for ‘personal reasons’ for the game in London. Not my top trade but one I’d keep an eye out for

They should call Detroit about Jameson Williams.

They paid St Brown a ton of money. Their offense is built on the run game and play action passing. The passing offense goes through St Brown, then Laporta, then maybe Williams. Williams has just 11 receptions in 5 games. He's in year 4 and there's no way they can pay to keep him with what they're paying St Brown and what they'll have to pay Gibbs at RB and Hutchinson on defense.

The other reason they may trade him is rookie Isaac Teslaa. He looks great and has 2 TDs already this year. He can step into the WR2 role for them.

Steelers have cap space to sign him to a long term deal and pair him with DK. As DK gets older, Williams can become WR1.

If the steelers line up with DK and Williams, every defense has to take a step back. It would let Austin play slot where he could also emerge.

On Thursday, I had the absolute pleasure of playing a local Yinzer, who is the strength and conditioning coach, at Pitt. He beat me 7-0 the first game (the game stupidly allows same team matches so it was Steelers vs. Steelers). And I won the second matchup 20-17; but he started talking to me in the second game and I learned that Darnell Washington is the biggest and baddest dude in the gym and none of the Steelers want to workout with him because he's an absolute beast!!!

Then we talked about Roman Wilson... his opinion was quite enlightening--- he said that Roman can't get in the field because he still hasn't caught on to the plays and doesn't run the right routes if an audible is called.

That's shocking. I still like Wilson but I wish he was smarter...

If you listen to all the narratives, that lines up. Last year the reason was that he didn't know the playbook. This year, AR says he needs to get out of his own head. Is the story as simple as that in college he never had a QB audible so that inability went undetected until he made it to the NFL?
 
Lazard yes to J.Williams is another Mike Wallace just good for the long ball, Olave for the year might be a good rental since we are all in, but I would not give Highsmith if that is the case than Lazard is better than Austin as a 2 and can klet him slide back nicely to the slot.
