Would you trade to get Emmanuel Sanders back?

I'm not bringing in a WR that was once here and criticized the current HOF QB that is due back next year. The team just got rid of the drama now you want to bring back some? Why? If you're looking for a #1 WR that hates Ben just bring back AB. He's a hell of a lot better WR. Just makes no sense to me. You've got a young WR corp. Let them work their way into it. Sanders doesn't make this team a SB contender.
I don't think Sanders is in the drama portion of his career. He isn't a young pup anymore. I am thinking BigBen wouldn't have issues of his return either as his want is to win. Sanders departure wasn't yesterday so not sure I am buying that he would bring the team more drama. I see nothing from his time in Denver that would suggest that way of thinking.

Not unless he's packaged with Bubby Brister.

Didn't he say **** about Ben? **** him.

I would trade the Steelers 3rd rounder in the 2020 draft.

That is a ton to give for a guy who's going to be an UFA after this season.

We aren't talking about Sanders calling out Ben when he said Manning was a better leader five years ago, we are talking about this past January.

Regardless BigBen would have to green light it. If he thought they could move past it I still would be ok with his signing. If he disliked the comments I would be ok with not bringing him in as well. Comments are on a different level than say bad behavior. I disagree with him obviously. But for me it only would be a deal breaker if Ben didn't feel comfy. Also if it isn't him it needs to be someone. The position has turned into a semi disaster.

Always liked Manny. Would love to see him back here. No idea if we could make that happen.

I would ask him this one question before signing

If you were signed today, by the PITTSBURGH STEELERS, what would be your team color's?

Salute the nation

I'd be more concerned giving up a draft pick to acquire a guy who wouldn't put the team over the top and then leave in the offseason.

You know WHAT? People talk **** at jobs when they leave....I'd bring him back for a 6th or 7th all day long. He's a rental...And Ben is done for the year....******* we need wide outs

Hard to say if he would put the team over the top. He is doing well so chances are he would upgrade the position. Steeler have been close in three losses. I wouldn't give up a fifth or higher. But anything lower to improve the position? Sure. Some other worthy WRs I would be interested in too. One thing is for sure this team should be looking. I would prefer a player that is under contract for at least next season as well. But I am just hoping they address the problem somehow.

Seriously. With our game plans with could bring in a Jerry Rice at the prime of his career and it would not help is.

sanu was just traded to the pats for a rnd 2 pick

Donks arent trading him for a 6th or 7th

I wouldn't go after Sanders. Getting old and slow. Plus, he's been injured a good bit over the last few years. I just can't see giving up another pick for someone like him that very well may not be here in a year or two. Use the young guys. This season is pretty much a write off as it is.

I agree, if we had Ben, I'd think about or try to upgrade with someone else. We are not beating the Pats and I highly doubt we make the PO. I hate to "give In" and work towards 2020, but bringing Sanders will not help much going forward. Let Moncrief earn that contract he signed and let the young guys earn their stripes.

**** Moncrief. Dump his *** and add Gary Jennings Jr

There is NO reason to trade for any more talent this year. It will be a miracle of Tomlin can get to his vaunted 8-8. Seriously. Why would you trade every fricken pick you have to pick up a guy who used to be a #3 and who now is likely a solid #2 but no more. They'd literally have to give up just about every pick they have just to make it happen.

Then he comes in with a QB he's never played with before, more importantly a QB who hasn't played long enough in the league to know how to adjust to new receivers? No. This season is most likely going to suck. Accept and move on.

No on Sanders but would look into adding Thomas as a FA to replace Switz in the return game.

Chiefs released WR De'Anthony Thomas.

The team elevated QB Kyle Shurmur in a corresponding move. Thomas totaled a single catch since rejoining the Chiefs in August, playing a majority of his reps on special teams. Kansas City also released DT Terrell McClain.

Little too pricey for both players moved.
