Would you hug Goodell?

I understand that getting into the NFL is an incredibly big deal, but do you really need to hug Goodell like he's the guy responsible for it, or the guy that will be looking out for you, or the guy who personally gives two ***** about you? If my kid was in that position I'd tell him to shake his hand and be done with it. I don't like that Goodell puts himself in a position to receive the outpouring of emotion that comes from finally realizing your NFL dream. It should be your coach, or your next coach, or your Mom, or someone other than Roger ******* Goodell.

The whole hugging thing has gotten way out of hand. And the "half-hearted hug" - where each person leans over and pats each other on the back - is ridiculous.

You hug a family member or a friend, or someone who's going or gone through a difficult time. And that's about it.
