Would you accept a trade offer for Coates? What is he worth?

You guessed at a 6th rounder. In other threads said we should have traded him when he had value, implying he no longer had that value. So, 50/50? Way to go!

81, is there an SN participation trophy?

Did you predict Golson would be a bust due to injury issues? No. Very few people consider a guy a bust due to injury. Dude had no injury issues in colllege. This is not a "win" prediction for Coach.

As to his football knowledge, coach does have some. Not as much as he thinks he has. He brags about using stats. He can read a stat line but lacks the ability to fully interpret.

Yes I felt he was injury prone due to his slender build. If you watched his clips, Coates burned him twice deep for scores in college.

PS: I am now a 6th months contributor to this fine web site. Does it auto re-new or not?

This was your prediction, too......

I panned the pick badly. I'll give Colbert credit for doing this. Drafting a long snapper is a mockery of itself.

Cutting him shortly after drafting him without injury signals Colbert did not let his ego get in the way of the perhaps least important roster spot on the team.

Guys, I know a lot of you have problems with Coach. He and I have debated from time to time. The difference is, I don't carry feelings from one thread to another. If he writes something funny or poignant, I laugh. (BTW that was actually a slick Ayres burn).

Over the past month, Coach has actually been posting some good content. Not just throwing crap at a wall for sticking potential. He's finally showing some humor and poking fun at himself (which is something he never used to do and was criticized for). With the venom some posters here throw 'big head' references toward him, then get upset when Coach makes the same joke at his own expense, doesn't make much sense to me.

With the amount of predictions he throws out, he's going to be right and wrong from time to time. The fact that this board doesn't let him forget his wrongs, should allow him a little time to crow when he is right.

Quoted for truth. He rubs me wrong somedays, but it is what it is. I would hope all of us can cuss each other out then get over it like brothers and sisters

Coach submitted his payment this morning so he's no longer a freeloader.

His injuries were not contact related and don't appear to be due to his slender build. Still doesn't count as a correct prediction. I'd say it doesn't count as an at-bat. 0/0.

Coates burned a lot of guys at the NFL level in the first five games of last year.

So, still a missed prediction, then?...

Oh, I think everyone missed that one. If I had my way we draft another player, so was I really wrong? So yes a miss, but in reality, it was a wasted pick as called on draft day! Drafting a long snapper in round 6?

# NEVERAGAIN.

Being right more often than wrong in hindsight is what I'll settle for. I encourage others to go make similar predictions if they wish. Otherwise we have a bunch of glass houses types throwing stones.

So I can blast and praise Colbert at the same time. Now it's mostly praise. He has earned it.

PS: While on topic I correctly predicted both Ayers and Golson would be cut. Golson was an easy call. Some here felt Ayers would make the team.

Others do make predictions. We don't prance around when we are right, though.

The real point is, your "predictions" aren't exactly what you think they are. For one, I don't care if you are right or wrong. I won't ride your *** (other than good natured ball busting) when you are wrong, unless you act like an ******* when you are right. When you make a lot of predictions, you will be wrong. A lot.

For example: My prediction for the season is:
