Would the Steelers really miss Bell?

I can not agree more about a sign and trade. Where I disagree is in the amount of the trade. I'll take the best offer, and broom him. We can start off with 14.5 million in cap space. If the offer for Bell is a 2nd round pick, so be it! If its a 3rd and a 4th, so be it.

We can agree to disagree on the value, but to me, he's a franchise pick which merits at least 1 first. After that, it's just gravy.

Can the Steelers authorize other teams to talk with Bell's agent? I could see a deal being worked out if a team added incentives to this year and
gave Bell assurances they would extend in his price range when they are allowed to negotiate. It's still good faith, but some teams have credibility
there.

By week 6 or 7 you could have a number of contending teams who lose their top back and need a replacement.
