Wk 17 gameday thread - Steelers at Browns AFC North at stake

Pat gets you there and you throw to one guy wow, Rogers gets some goat on that
Not just the fact that Friermuth is moving the chains, but also the fact the browns linebacker is basically playing on one leg and no one exposed that weakness on that final drive

When I caught my breath from laughing, I realize you are right.

I'm always right and I had lasagna

If any of you are surprised by this you are a liar. So expected and so Tomlin. Who wants to see the Steelers get blown out at home in the playoffs again? I honestly prefer they end the season next week.
If it involves tomlin being shown the door, I’ll take it.

I hear and feel your sentiment, but the tomlin will be here for ‘26.

the on ly real question is if Rooney picks up the ‘27 option.

A lot rides on next week’s game.

I have low expectations next week.
But come to expect the same next season no matter who they draft or hire as the scapegoat coordinator

Can't wait to watch us lose to another back up QB next week with a playoff berth on the line. Another Mike Tomlin special. I hope he gets booed off the field.

Yeah and didn't get us into the end zone targeting the worst option on the field.
Big time players make big time plays...we didn't have any at that moment. Muth is not getting open there either. The lack of timeouts and clock was a back breaker as well.

Plop plop plop.....Hear that? Thats sound, is all the Steelers fans falling off the bandwagon...... :ROFLMAO:

Shedeur Sanders pwns Mikey T and the gang. Think about that for a second.

Actually, I blame this all on the offense and DK throwing his little hissyfit in Detroit.

I knew that would screw them.
Nope. Tomlin's game plan is at fault.

The least big-time player and maybe worst player on the field, offense or defense, was MVS. He got 3 straight targets. He probably shouldn't have even been out there, but since he was, he shouldn't get a single target in that situation.

One good thing I took away. The Steelers played 3 defensive linemen and *gasp* actually generated pressure.

For sure especially since he had an awful game in general. 2 of the passes he wasn't even on the same page. We would have been better off trying a dump off to Gainwell or even Heyward. Muth should have been option #1 regardless

MVS had sucked all game but they throw to him 3x in a row expecting a miracle
And they refused to use Roman Wilson yet again. If they aren't going to use him, just cut him already and let another team show how good he can be. Tomlin won't even give him a chance.

The Steelers, who could have cliched the division with a win, lost to a three win team with nothing to play for and the 31st ranked QB in the NFL. Doesn't get much worse than that.
