Wk 17 gameday thread - Steelers at Browns AFC North at stake

Alright, coach Tomlin, here we are. Today is a big opportunity for you and your cadre of coaches to shut up those of us, who think you and your staff need to be sent packing. A pivotal game with a chance to clinch our first division title in five years, while simultaneously eliminating our rival ratbirds from the postseason. A VERY winnable game against a pretty pitiful Browns team, so if this Steelers team is a legitimate playoff team, then there is absolutely NO excuse for losing this game. I dont wanna hear S.HIT about the "refs screwing us", or Goodell, or "the league office", fike all that stupid conspiracy BS.

Let's see it, Coach T, let's see you all take care of business late in the season, let's see you book your ticket to a playoff game in January. Let's see this team finish the regular season on a high note. Let's see this team get a nice, convincing road win against a bad Cleveland team like we used to do all the time, not so much in recent seasons.

We're watching with great anticipation.

...I'll go on record now and say that if the Steelers crap the bed today and get outcoached and outplayed against the Browns today, they will absolutely lose to Baltimore next week and lose the division, not to mention a spot in the postseason, and it will arguably be this franchise's "most impressive" late-season collapse to date.

I hear yaz Omar, but this shouldn’t even be close. It should be a 12 1/2 + point win.

If it comes down to a squeaker-ship win, even if win it is actually a tomlin fail.

Players should be coming out late 3rd - mid 4th quarter to save for future use.

The browns are a shiiiity team, play them like they are the best and it will be over early.

That intensity needed to be set at the start of the week, complacency as in the past won’t cut it.

Salute the nation

Yup, and Kaleb Johnson is inactive, meaning that if the Steelers are up two scores in the 4th Q, the co-starters will have to keep taking hits to run out the clock.

Agree 100%. The Steelers should smell blood in the water and execute at a high degree of competency, this shouldnt be a game by the time we hit the 4th quarter.

I like the Black and Gold to take care of business today and secure the North. The Steelers should win but we know the factory of sadness will come out playing with nothing to lose. This could be a slog fest.
I do like our defense vs. Sh!tter Sanders. He still looks slower going through his progressions and he doesn't step up in the pocket. I like the Steelers sacking him 4-6 times today and maybe getting a few turn overs.

I don't think the offense will miss DK today I like Aaron spreading the ball among everyone. We should see some shots to MVS and Roman and the dynamic duo of Warren and Gainwell just dominating the ground.

Is it sad because you’re questioning our fandom ….or is it sad because it might be realistic?
The Steelers are 0-3 in Cleveland since Roethlisberger retired, so it's realistic. Tomlin really has a chance to change the narrative today by going out and handling the Browns with the division on the line. Not a close game that comes down to the final minute. Go out and beat this team by 2+ scores.

After last week, I could use a break. I do not expect to get it.

Steelers Ravens, SNF, Prime Time, Rogers vs Lamar, Division Championship and playoffs on the line. WhoooooHooooo!

Puke.

Please get it done today.

Honestly, I'm just as excited at the prospect of a 1:00 pm game next week as winning the division, lol.

They drop this one and next week too. BUT MT had another non-losing season so all is well.

We have Rodgers, if the O-line holds up like it has been this game shouldn't be a problem.....shouldn't.

It's now or never. If you can't beat a ****** 3 win browns team, you're not very good and should stay home.

You don't need to embarrass the uniform again getting curb stomped in round one of the playoffs.

Not a conspiracy if it proves true, we'll see.
It is floating around the internet. I tend not to believe it but I also never underestimate the greed of man. I do tend to believe it would be individual over a grand scheme.

Both WRs’ Metcalf and Austin out. Not good!
Hopefully we can establish the running game early and ride with that.

KINGS OF THE NORTH!!!

let’s goooooo!!!!

Let’s step on some throats with a hob nailed boot
