With the 49th overall pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select WR Chase Claypool

I will admit I used to get tired of watching bubble screens going nowhere. BUT having Chase and Ju Ju blocking out front on a pass to DJ sounds enticing.

That's a great and (likely) underestimated point. There are so many different ways to attack with this upcoming offense.

Looks like he coulda had a lot more TDs with a better QB at ND. He'd have his guy beat, then have to slow down/wait for the ball. Couple of those plays, if he were hit in stride, woulda gone the distance. I think a healthy Ben is gonna have fun throwin him the ball. Wish Hines was around to coach him, especially with blocking.:smokin:

Hines is one former player that I think makes a great assistant coach (and perhaps one day even more). Worked & learned the mental aspects that I think lends itself to good coaching. Charismatic, positive, infectious personality. Anyways, was pretty disappointed when they didn't bring him back, but he was pretty critical of Tomlin and Tomlin is not as thick-skinned as he likes to portray IMO.

A couple things that strike me about this kid. I also like his above the neck game. He's learning little nuances like patience/delayed head fakes and moves that he finally got ahold of from some good coach. People can say he's a one year wonder, but his impressive Senior Bowl performance and combine (I believe) show that he's just scratching the surface and is maybe just a bit of a late bloomer.
