They may have had sex in the bathroom, or not. Read the publicly available "evidence" including the statements of the woman and her friends. It was amazing how 4 women all had verbatim identical statements, none of which matched up with the layout. Please note that an offduty police officer paid all bills that evening.

I have a big problem with grown *** professional athletes abusing college girls. The **** is your problem? I completely disagree with you and everyone on your side of this. There were two instances of Ben being accused of rape... the first entailed a girl who had a known history of mental illness going to his hotel room in the middle of the night for a call she wasn't qualified to handle, who later boasted about having sex with him and fantasized to friends that they would get married. She never made a big deal about it until after she traveled to Pittsburgh and tried to get onto his property to get with him again and was rejected..
The second was less gray than the first... there was zero chance it happened the way she claimed it did and her and her friends backtracked as soon as the media showed up... they stalked ben to several different bars and had facebook posts about getting back at him after he acted like an *** and kicked one of their sorority sisters out of his party... there was a real good reason that no charges were ever brought... the story they concocted was impossible to say the least... the bathroom she was supposedly locked in and raped had no lock and couldn't physically fit two people inside... all that was in the mounds of evidence released that the media ignored cause it wasn't juicy enough. One of the Officers that was relieved of duty over the mess sued because it was all BS...

Oh he acted like an ***, and there were more examples of that too... there was no doubt he was a jerk, but the rape charges were total bunk... and the settlement in vegas was mutual... he was suing her as well... last reports she wasn't exactly rich so im assuming there was no huge payday for her to back off. A ton of celebrity athletes are jackasses in real life... caring about them off the field is as stupid as caring about what your coworker does on his or her offtime... Read that whole report page to page again, how ben acted was like a 20 year old spoiled brat frat boy... but that didn't make him a rapist and frankly the evidence said so pretty clearly.

I disagree that the evidence cleared him. Evidence of aggressive sex was there, and lack of certain evidence was questionable - like really questionable, but **** it. I have my opinion and it goes against the grain on this board. I've been vocal on my opinion here since it happened that we should have cut him. I threw out my son's number 7 jersey. That does not represent my Steelers. **** anyone who thinks that makes me less of a fan.

but the doctor could not say whether the injuries were from any kind of trauma or sexual assault.- Note also in the full report the "bruising " they claimed to have found was the same as she would have had from having sex or fingering herself anytime in the past 24 hours... they found no semen... they found a trace amount of male DNA which was too small to even sample... which literally can be explained 8 million different ways other than rape... the full police report made it clear that there was no evidence of sexual assault, that she repeatedly changed her story to meet her friends... that they tried to take it all back when they went to the police station... and that all those girls had posts on social media about the situation alluding to them getting revenge on him for throwing their friend out... believe what you want...

****, you had to continue...ok...drunk chick tells cop at bar she was assaulted. Goes to the hospital and gets checked and they find bruising and trace DNA. Your position is that she got bruised by fingering herself, and the trace DNA couldn't be identified, even though experts are dumbfounded that a DNA profile couldn't be retrieved by that trace sample. Right.. He got away with it, Bud.

You are taking everything from 1 article from a newspaper... there was a huge report from the DA that was released... in it it was clear that there was a ton of evidence that this was a vendetta accusation,and that there was zero chance it was rape. If I shake your hand I can get trace dna on you... DNA also doesn't immeadiately evaporate for them to swab and get. they found trace amounts of DNA on her... not enough to even extrapolate and test... and Cyril wright has blown as many cases as he got right... he just likes to make provocative statements like that...

This is little different than when the Bus was accused by the charlatans in the early 2000's... had they not slipped up and gotten busted people to this day would be calling Bettis a rapist too...

Or it is time for him to read all the released documents on the subject. Instead of a few select articles from the media. While Ben actions were not that of a model citizen. The evidence in those documents clearly show that he was not a rapist. Just have to do a little reading.

I totally agree with you but he seems to be the type of person that would rather call people names and use obscene words to rile people up. I get tired of the crap spewed about Ben too but the more you fuel the fire the more they dig in.. Better to just ignore them and move on..
Charles is one of those people who locks into a opinion. I challenge you to show us all evidence of his guilt. Not of bad judgement but of his guilt.
Not one of us can claim of not using bad judgment at one time or another. But stick to that strong opinion with little to no factual evidence to back it up.
As far as you giving me examples of the court system not being based on innocent until proven guilty. Sure the system is flawed, but they still have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt you committed a crime. And don't mistake arrest for anything more than what it is. A accusation of wrong doing.
And we do know it is a rich mans system. As if you have money you are less likely to get convicted.
But it still falls back to evidence and reasonable doubt. Now supported by DNA in some instances.
I find it interesting with people who cherry pick their opinions of others. Often they are never put in a situation where people lied on them. As just maybe they wouldn't be so quick to be judgmental.
My hope is you aren't in any type of job that you get to decide peoples fates.
