Why are we running our mouth's already.

If they dont talk themselves up certainly no one else will....especially the Steelers fanbase from the looks of it. If we're being blatantly honest though I dont think they would have a problem being a top 5 defense assuming the offense can hold up their side of the coin and they stay healthy. This team has continously been imbalanced by poor play from the offense season after season which will tend to wear down any defense by season's end due to a elevated number in time possession and snaps on the field.

Im more concerned about the DC then the players playing on defense. I dont think the DC matches up well with the more sophisticated offensive minds in the league. I believe the players on this defense can make the plays necessary assuming they are put in the right position to do so.

I think the offense was in the field more than the defense last year but not by a lot.
I agree coaching has a lot to do with the fiasco that was the Ravens game last playoffs.
But at some point the players have to play.

Seems like people are confusing trash talking with gaslighting teammates.
I don't think JP2's comment would be an example of gaslighting.

One definition: A gaslighter might tell lies to stick with their own version of events even when confronted with the evidence making the victim question their own perception of the truth.
Gaslighting can never be positive. It is always used to make someone look bad.

Sort of what Trog does in the P&R forum.

Tomlin is the de facto DC. The named DC is his puppet and fall guy. We all know your have a sjw agenda so you’ll never criticize him tho
