......when we know that they are hardcore jihadi's, and based upon recent history, will be back in the fight trying to kill us? And not only us, but most probably other Muslims.
No one uses Gitmo as a recruitment tool anymore,..........not when we drone them to death. It just doesn't make sense.

Another idiotic decision by this misguided dumbass. If I was in the military, I might wonder who the enemy actually is.

He will try to close it by the time he is out by releasing/moving all of them before he is out, and then try to close it by executive action saying that it isn't necessary because there is noone there. He will be a lame duck by then, and Congress won't act right away, but he will have already released or moved them all.

You know if we actually pull ALL of our troops out of the ME and stop funding and arming groups that destabilize the governments and turn into terrorists we wouldn't have to worry. No personnel in the ME makes flying the Gitmo detainees back to where we got them and leaving them on the Tarmac a moot point.
