Who’s your round 2

I’m bummed they traded Bryant “ the future is now” with ben bringing in another rookie and waiting to see where he falls is bullshit. Ya juju had a good rookie year but having Bryant stretching the field was huge. Another 3 rd pick zawhooooopie fukingdoooooo.....

bryant was a joint away form not being part of the future at all. And if he was going to be a malcontent the whole season because he wants a new contract and more throws his way then this was a great move

Yeah, let's go from one WR whose name was pronounced wrong 95% of the time to another.

... thought I replied to the Equanimous post, but I must have fat fingered it.

I wouldn’t have they traded Bryant “ the future is now” with ben getting up there bringing in another rookie and waiting to see where he falls is bullshit. Ya juju had a good rookie year but having Bryant stretching the field was huge. Another 3 rd pick zawhooooopie fukingdoooooo.....

Bryant did not stretch the field anywhere near what he did in his rookie year, so we are not missing much there. He can and will be replaced by another #3 WR.

or a #1 TE

I hope Gesicki falls, would also be happy with St. Brown.. or the WR from FSU later in the draft for that big pass catcher presence

Im not opposed to taking another safety. If a ball hawk type moore or bates is available. Sub package football is king now. Nickle and Dime sets are used so much now. Having guys like Bennet Edmunds davis who can line up anywhere causes confusion. Drafting a true middle field safety allows those guys to line up anywhere. S WR and ILB is where i would be looking today

2. Christian Kirk Wr
3. Malik Jefferson ILB
3b. Okoronkwo OLB

Since they are going purely on NEED, it should be a LB next

Ravens made sure the Steelers wouldn't get Rashaan Evans

It wasn't a coincidence that the Ravens allowed the Titans moved up to take Rashaan Evans. It was gamesmanship.

While the Steelers were unable to find a trade partner to get Evans, the Ravens traded first round picks with the Titans, who were able to take Evans with the 22nd overall pick in the draft. In the deal, the Ravens also picked up a fourth-round pick and sent a sixth-round pick back to Tennessee.

Instead of getting their coveted inside linebacker, the Steelers used the 28th overall pick to select Virginia Tech safety Terrell Edmunds, who also saw time at linebacker during his time with the Hokies. While they apparently wanted to get Evans, the Steelers seem happy with their selection of Edmunds, who will help bolster Pittsburgh's secondary after the unit released Mike Mitchell and Robert Golden earlier this offseason.

Washington and Miller are the 2 guys I like.

Bryant played under enthused last year. This year would have only gotten worse.

Martavis trade changes things. Before the trade, they needed a depth guy and somebody who could replace Martavis next year. Now, they have no depth at all.

AB and Juju start outside and Eli Rogers should be back in the slot. Then what? Justin Hunter and DHB?

Juju can play slot or outside so i think that gives the steelers flexibility to take a slot like Dashawn Hamilton or a pure outside guy like Chark or St.Brown.

I think the steelers will draft 2 WRs. Probably somebody in rd 2 or 3 and then somebody late. For the late pick, i like Justin Watson from Penn. he’s an ivy leaguer so he’s smart and he has size and speed, nearly 6’3 and a 40 of 4.42.

2nd round targets
sam hubbard - would be huge value if he falls and could help pass rush.
Malik Jefferson ILB - if they can’t get him, it could be a wait on ILB
WR, if still a value available.
Gesicki or Goedert - either would be a great pick and possible immediate impact.
Kerryon Johnson RB - probably the onlt RB i’d take in rd 2, has some potential as a 3 down back
Mason Rudolph - might be BPA and would be a value in 2. The extra 3rd rounder makes this a better pick too.

i have a feeling there will be a run on WRs in RD 2. I think Sutton, Miller, Kirk, and maybe Washington gone before 28.

They went with a multi-position type of player in Rd.1. Could they do it in Rd. 2 or maybe Rd. 3 (if he lasts that long) again and grab Griffen? One hand or not, the dude is an athlete and can play ILB or OLB and with his speed, he can stay with any TE or RB.

We are in a Championship window, we need playmakers that can contribute on offense NOW

We need another RB and a WR that can play day 1, not more 4 year projects on defense.

Shaquem Griffin LB has some serious wheels. Would make sense since we're drafting guys with multiple brothers in the league - the Watt brothers, then last night Terrell Edmunds w his brother.

Griffin is the fastest ILB in the draft by a lot. Isn't that what we're looking for?

Really rooting for the kid, lot of heart & talent. Plus he's got a brother in the league, so we could check that off.

Would have liked Josh Jackson in the first round. Unfortunately, he'll be long gone by the time they pick in the second round.

Guice, Rudolph, and Washington all might be on the board at 60 lol

And the Ravens jumped ahead of us to draft Maxx. How did that work out? They had to waste another draft pick on a TE this year didn't they?

One more DUI or drug issue for Bell and he's gone for 8 games, isn't he?

Holy **** Coach, you rip on people for reading comprehension, and I've told you more than once. Bell's next suspension is 4 games...

Actually no he would still be at step 2 which is four games. Been discussed numerous times. AND ALSO WITH NO MISTAKES BELL WILL BE OUT THE PROGRAM IN AUGUST.
