Who’s your round 2

Best fit wr. Not much first round talent but lots of 2-4. Go get the best one available end of the round. Plug Juju in opposite AB and you are better off than you were and you got an extra third.

Miller or Jefferson would be a great pick in round 2. With AB, JuJu, James and McDonald, we won’t miss a beat.

Bryant with all his talent just wasn’t worth the headaches and concern about his next drug test.

I would guess the Steelers would go defense again, maybe LB?

BPA

I could see a WR being their BPA.

Still a ILBer possibility too....

I get the feeling part of the reason the Steelers picked Edwards is to replace what Shazier brought to the defense on 3rd down or 2nd and long. So ILB, might not be as big as need with this pick for round two.

A powerhouse DT/NT like Phillips, I think would be a good pick.

I didn't really study WRs, now is a big priority so probably we will be picking one in round 2 or 3, another possibility is RB or TE

Coach:
I had the same thought when looking at the stats and measurable on Terrell Edmunds. He's listed at 6'0"-6'1" depending on site, and at 220 pounds with 4.47 40 speed, he is a hybrid type player - big safety or small LB. My first thought was that he is only 10 pounds lighter than Shazier's exact measurements of 6-0, 230. Could he add a little weight? At 21, sure he could. He is that freakish athlete similar to Shazier in size, speed, and strength. Maybe they see him as an eventual ILB? Remember, Brian Urlacher was a safety in college too.

NT Tim Settle if he's there, maybe ILB Baker, Leonard or Avery or one of the WR's, if they've fallen in love with someone. The tall, speedy WR out of Notre Dame - St. Brown - could be a nice replacement for Bryant if he lasts that long.

It is friggin' awesome to have nabbed another 3rd rounder for 'tavis. The third round could be critical tonight, so stoked to have an xtra pick this high.

Not sure about Rd. 2 but on Day 2, we need ILB, RB and WR. At ILB, I can see Malik Jefferson or Josey Jewell. If Guice is there in Rd. 2, they probably go there.

2-60 Darrius Leonard.
3-79 Tim Settle.

This would shore up the D.

The good news for us is that they have vets plugged in at all the need spots. Can we improve? Definitely! But we don't need to **** ourselves to get a specific position. RB, WR, ILB, OLB and TE all need depth but we are lucky that we don't have to go in a specific direction.

1. Harold Landry
2. Anthony Miller

I’m bummed they traded Bryant “ the future is now” with ben bringing in another rookie and waiting to see where he falls is bullshit. Ya juju had a good rookie year but having Bryant stretching the field was huge. Another 3 rd pick zawhooooopie fukingdoooooo.....

I wouldn’t have they traded Bryant “ the future is now” with ben getting up there bringing in another rookie and waiting to see where he falls is bullshit. Ya juju had a good rookie year but having Bryant stretching the field was huge. Another 3 rd pick zawhooooopie fukingdoooooo.....

IF they drafted Edmunds to be their 3rd Safety (primarily a "dime" Safety), they will still be looking for an ILB. If that is the case, I would take Fred Warner, but the team likes Oren Burks. I take Warner to eventually play at the Mack and try to get Avery later to replace Williams at the buck. I do not like Malik Jefferson at ILB (lack of instincts, and I watched all of his games at UT).

I like a WR in the 3rd, along with Avery with the other 3rd round pick.

If their target is not an ILB, they may take Rudolph (value), they may take a TE, (value), if a good one falls like Goedert, Andrews or Gesicki, or they could go WR if one of their targets falls to them (Pettis, Sutton or Washington). It really depends on the "runs" on positions which often happens in round 2. My hope is that a good ILB or RB falls to them as they will get some playing time sooner, not later. Next in that likelyhood would be a WR or TE, should one of our starters go down. 3rd, along that same thinking is a CB or S or maybe an EDGE (although very few impact players remain) and lastly, an OL as we need some depth at T with Hubbard gone.

with Bostic and Vince you have your regular 3-4 setup, when 3rd an long you plug Edmunds as the cover LB with Watts, Bostic and Dupree. We really don't need to draft an ILB with a high pick any more. I wouldn't mind Burks with our 3rd though.

A TE like Gesicki could substitute MB's capability of stretching the field, so we might get him and play a lot of 2 TE sets
