Who says the Pittsburgh Steelers are out of the running to steal the AFC North once again this season? Those rumors have been circling ever since the Cleveland Browns have been making some pretty impressive moves this off-season. The attention has been on the Browns ever since John Dorsey has been recognized as an ‘evil […]

Dorsey isn't a genius, he had almost $100 million in cap space, and high draft picks. Most of the people on this board could've made good personnel moves with all he had to work with.

Steelers. For the last time for a long time

The shitstains, according to the national media.

**** them, they're still a dumpster fire of an organization.

Steelers. I never trust paper champions/super teams. Baltimore won’t be able to sustain a whole season of Lamar Jackson.. Bungles are going the wrong direction

Stains win the division at 9-7.
Steelers will be 8-8 and miss the playoffs again, upside Shades doesn't get an extension.

Steelers now will be a complete team this season without any distractions from self motivated players.

While I can agree with this, in years past, their GM would have still ****** it all up. Truth is, they are making some good moves and should be much improved this year. It doesn’t make a person less of a fan or make the Steelers better or worse to admit that.

I like Cleveland to win the division this year. None of the other teams in the AFCN have gotten better so far this offseason, and most would argue all of them have gotten worse. I think the Steelers will be ok offensively as there is still plenty of talent there. Maybe not quite as explosive, but they will put up enough points this year. The big question to me is the defense. I don’t think the problem is talent as much as scheme, but adding some player upgrades will certainly help.

The Steelers have made some questionable personnel moves through both the draft and free agency over the last 5-10 years. Having a HOF QB is great, and it has covered a lot of warts. But the personnel failures and the failure that is this coaching staff is going to bite this team in the *** over and over and it already has. Until the franchise accepts its mistakes, addresses them and changes the path they are on, I personally think it is going to get worse before it gets better.

Every one in our division seems to be making improvement moves, as we seem to be going sideways, the signings are ifs since many have had injuries, the big if is the defense improves .

But with Tomlin's culture of permissiveness another young dumbass player will emerge motivated by greed and narcissism
The sooner Art Le Deuce pins Cool Shades ears back and gives him a hard ultimatum the better.

Not sure anyone can call this until after the draft.

True, however they mostly need help on defense and Tombert's track record of drafting and coaching up defense is not good. Therefore I predict 8-8.

The STEELERS have beaten paper champions before. I'm picking the B & G by game 15.

Salute the nation

@Sarge, what you say is true. Their past Gm's were so bad it makes Dorsey look even better. Getting rid of Hue was the best move he made.

Dorsey has proven to be a good GM with the Chiegs and he has made some great signings to an up and coming team. Hard not to be excited if you are a Browns fan but a lot of Steeler fans want to group the last 20 years of Browns moronic football moves onto this team. The Browns are the favorites to win the AFC North ny Vegas and that is a huge tell and not to be discounted.

Based on this, Shades will add another non-losing season to his incredible coaching record. He'll get an extension!

Who cares about the fans when the stadium will keep filling up?
