Who was the most talented back ever?

Perhaps Faulk isn't higher regarded because he made it all look so easy. And there is no question he could rush the ball.

They are so very, very different. Brown was considered a superman in his day. He was huge, big enough to flourish in today's game. He had great size, power and speed. He was considered indestructible. Today, he admits he felt more hits than he let onto, but I don't believe he ever missed a play from injury. Sanders was so insanely quick, nimble and shifty. There were plays where he wouldn't be "tackled" if it was two-hand-touch football; he was that quick and elusive. They were so different, it's hard to say one was better than the other.

I still maintain that if Bo didn't get hurt and only played football, he would have ended up as the best ever. The fact in such limited play, he owns 3 of the top 5 longest TD runs is kind of insane.
 
I'm not putting him on any all time elite list BUT check out Priest Holmes numbers from 01 to 03.

Yea, 4 seasons, but he played a little more than just half the games in those 4 seasons, and had only 13 carries a game and _STILL_ had TD runs of 91, 88 and 92 yard TD carries. That is insane.

What defense was he running against? sometimes that has something to do with it as well. The titans had a small quick back that was tearing up the stat lines until he played the steelers. Well over 100 yards rushing in other games played Pittsburgh and had like 62 yards or something in that game. If your looking for a moment in time Willie Parker in the super bowl longest rush from scrimmage in the history of the big game. The bus running over the bears middle linebacker was a moment that is impressive as well.

For me if I'm starting a team and I get my choice of any back ever in his prime I'm taking Bo Jackson.
