After that playoff loss...it was "slim pickens" for awhile..
It definitely was. This is off topic but after those miserable years and awful start to the 89 season, I can remember the wild wild card game against the Oilers down in the Astrodome on New Years eve and then the close game against Denver. I remember punching a wall after that loss. We were so close to moving onto the AFC Championship.

I DID work in the home entertainment department, so likely had all the TVs set to the game. It's just not something I quite remember.
