Who knows anything about Houston

I'll be at the game, so two questions:

1). Are there any good pregame hangouts or tailgating locations?

2). Will the roof be open or closed for Sunday's game? I couldn't find any info on this.

If you arrive in the tailgating lot I would bet most people woukd feed you and be happy to hang with you, assuming you arent a dick. Even if you are wearing steeler gear. The people in Houston are freindly.

Second one first. Despite a forecast of low 50's and sunny, the roof will be closed. Crazy, I know. But they (Texans management) rarely open the roof. They say it's to enhance crowd noise. In the end, the 50 million or spent to make the roof retractractable was a huge waste of money.

As for places to hang out, I don't know of any in the immediate area of the stadium. Again strange, I know. Unlike Pittsburgh, Houston isn't a "walking city." But like xjt said, there's a lot of tailgating.

Enjoy the game.

All I know about Houston is that they have this elevated hwy runnin' thru the city that will get your sorry *** runned over if you ain't goin' 30 mph over the speed limit .Just a bit south you can git an oil bath just walkin' along the beach. Oh yeah, there's great fishin' about 4 hrs out on the gulf among the oil derricks.

Houston has great seafood too. Oysters!
Hilary Duff is from there. Hit! x 1000

As for Mondays game. I'm unsure what to expect. Last weeks debacle may have the teams focus on just the playoffs.
Sure seeding factors and such. But idk.

The Steelers should be pretty pissed off all the way through the rest of this season.

When drafted, I thought JuJu was more like Bolden. Watching him on the field, he is more like a faster, taller Hines Ward.

Let's not forget that the early years of Boldin, he was a pretty quick, shifty tough recover that ran solid routes. He wasnt always this lumbering, bulky wr that we saw in Baltimore

His rookie year was won of his two best performances statistically. Earlier Boldin was every bit as athletic as Hines and Juju.
