Who is starting at CB and OLB?

Al,

Cortez was badly badly by the Browns TE for six last season. I'd rather let Shazier cover Gronk as he's faster, more physical and has better confidence. The last confidence part is strictly my opinion, but last season Allen lost his.

The starting player usually gets more snaps, and sets the tone. That is why I care who starts. IMO Harrison should start, as he's the better player and has leadership qualities.

Shazier can't follow Gronk around the field...the Pats line him up at WR often, in that case he needs to be treated just like a very large WR.

So you are saying our 4th corner and back up Safety in 2014 are now starting in 2015. If Tomlin wants respect from the players Harrison should start over Jones. Lord knows James has earned it and he had the better pre-season.

Harrison in the preseason has had almost as many sacks as Uncle Jarvis has had in his two year career.

I am not sure Blake can play slot effectively. He has even mentioned he is more comfy on the outside.

Boykin,Gay, and Allen might very well be more suited for the slot. Problem is you need to "above the line" outside corners.

Out of all three Gay and Blake might be the most comfy on the outside. But Boykin has a desire to play there.

If Blake stumbles look for Boykin to get some looks there early.

If I was a Steelers coach I might stick Allen in the slot and leave him there. Early in his tenure he seemed pretty comfy there.

#comfy - that's how I like my DB's...

Last year...He worked a lot on his game, his fundamentals, technique, and his confidence this off season.

Harrison is on a snap count, doesn't matter who starts the game
