We dont seem to have one at the moment. Only one guy who has experience and look good doing it is Burns in college that i know of. Tomlin doesnt like to use defensive players to return kicks though.

I'll answer your question with one of my own. When was the last time we actually had a KR?

You maybe be right it might not matter lol smh

I saw this morning that Terrell Watson will be a likely candidate......which seems strange because he appears to be a power back, not a speed guy. Surely they have somebody else? Hell I would try DHB back there. He's still fast. Or did they already try him a few years ago and he sucked? I can't remember.

Ahhhhh Dookie Davenport 2.0

Im not going to like this...but i cant think of anyone i would have liked them to cut to keep a KR either.. so glad they kept Brian Allen

I would have liked to see Conner originally. But with his hands being slightly suspect, I have to go in another direction.

I am thinking Watson might be the safe hands option, where others like Hunter etc. might be the bigger play capable.

Do hope they come up with someone that at least gives them a chance. Seem to notice, at least in preseason, that not all teams are willing to concede the 25 yard line and deliberately kicking short.

If no one back there is considered a threat, I could see teams doing this all year.

I was thinking DHB also. Maybe Justin Hunter. He'll need to play ST somehow since he won't get on the field as a WR that much.

he is one of the worst options, he would be good for three to four drops, that would be a turnover nightmare

If you look at the risk of injury or penalty and the average kr of less than kneeling and going to the 25 I think the Steelers plan on just taking the 25 unless there's a really short kickoff or a penalty pushes back the kickoff spot.

How about Bell? Oh wait. He would want to be paid as a RB, WR and KR then. Might push his asking price over the $20 mill mark then.

Also Shades said that AB won't be returning punts anymore.

When Sutton returns he could be an option

As good as our offense should be this year we should take the knee as often as we can

Take a knee every time.

Ding ding. Unfortunately I think teams will be pooching it inside the ten more and more. But any kickoff that is caught inside the endzone should be downed. No matter what unless you are losing and it is the last or second last play.
League overthought itself. Made it so atttactive to conceede to take kickoffs out that kicking teams want the return because two bad things can happen penalty and fumble and big returns are very rare.

Watson won't be active on game day unless Conner or Bell gets injured. He's not enough of a KR commodity to give him a hat.

Options are:
Eli Rogers
DHB
AB
Conner

Personally I'm thinking it will be Eli and Conner back there opening day.
