He’ll uncork a historic can of suck soon enough
Board just slow since there’s little chance of him sucking on a bye week, but if anyone can it’s Mediocre Mike…instead the entire rest of the division that was playing sucked this week.
Obviously the plan, they all blinked
The next men up did not produce
They played below the line and things of that nature and lacked the components necessary for winning football in the NFL. Not enough splash plays, didn’t convert on the weighty downs and things of that nature.

Can we talk about something I've observed the last two weeks? I'm in a Pick 'em league and I was in 6th place and one win behind the leader. I got the bright idea to use the vegas odds to select the winner and use the margin to set my points. HUGE mistake. My wins and points have severely ****** me over. How is Vegas losing this much money? is there a short like in the stock market that I don't know about? (I've never bet in my life)

You have to realize the spreads are set to entice even money to both sides of the game with Vegas scooping the vig off the losers
Vegas isn’t losing money, lines are simply set and move to keep the money on both sides of the equation

A couple decent gambling strategies:
A) Look for very late line shifts caused by a major player putting down boatloads to exploit a line that is off. These shifts frequently convert to winners. You are in essence following the insiders/pros
B) Bet against the public when the public is causing early line movement in a direction. Shop around and you can frequently even get an extra point or two (and every point counts).
Comparing 10-12 of the lines from the major casinos can also help sus out betting trends and what insider knowledge is doing. Also just good to do for point shopping before placing bets.
C) Never ever ever ever bet on the Packers (to win or lose)…maybe that’s just a me thing
after missing on my first 6 games they were involved in always with some freakish last minute BS I’ve learned my lesson. The rest of the league I can hit 60-70% vs the spread, Packers zilch. Maybe that’s why I never know what the Steelers will do this year??? Rodgers still got that Packer taint on him.- Joined
