The 2027 draft class is supposed to be very good. I’m hoping next year.He can do as he wishes, but I wouldn’t mind the picks sooner than later..

I don’t know man. I believe Tomlins rhetoric has long lasting power with the mainstream media.Honestly I don't know if his Tomlinisms will age very well on TV. It has a shelf life.
I know the first couple years I was blown away then when things started going sideways I didn't even want to hear him talk.
The difference is that Harbs was fired so he can look for another job.His agent, unlike Harbage's, has not leaked that he got 7 calls in the first 45 minutes after getting dumped.
Obviously, and things of that nature, globally speaking.I don’t know man. I believe Tomlins rhetoric has long lasting power with the mainstream media.
Dear Lord I would not wish that on Buffalo. McDermott ***** all over Mike and that move would be 10 steps back!I think there are some good options for him out there
New York (Giants) are basically owned by the same family as the Rooneys... they are married into each other ... they have a young QB Tomlin really liked
Miami's QB situation is more tenuous, but its warm and the team has talent
Atlanta is warm and probably closest to playoff ready outside of Baltimore
I dont think he will go to the three bottom feeder teams, and I dont think he stats in the division
I honestly think there are two teams that really could be interested that arent out of a HC yet
Tampa is the top pick... QB in place, just gutted the coaching staff and not thrilled with the HC plus he has history there
Green Bay is a cold weather team, but they are loaded and they are flirting with getting a different coach... likely a defensive guy if they did switch
Lastly if the Bills dont make it to the SB, fellow W&M guy McDermott may be out.. abd Allen fits the big ben mold for Tomlin
He will sit out a year and take Tampa Bay next year...I don't think he takes a team right away. I think he waits until the Steelers no longer own his rights. Maybe sit out a year or do a TV gig.
Bingo.I'm not sure his word salad Tomlinisms are a good fit for TV analysis.
Yes it was covered extensively.Has anyone addressed the elephant in the room?
There is something strange going on with the way he just disappeared. I mean for him not to give a PC the way Cowher did and out of his own mouth thank the Rooneys, the fans, etc. after almost 20 years is nuts.
Rooney indicated it was family, players in the meeting said it was because he couldn't get it done, then his personal spokesperson Jay Glazer said Tomlin was basically the one supporting the entire organization. Based on this, I'm guessing he didn't feel appreciated being pushed out and didn't want to shoulder the blame for going nearly a decade without winning a playoff game. I don't think it's a big deal either way and hope he's enjoying his time away from football.Has anyone addressed the elephant in the room?

I actually hope he coaches next year, we could use an extra draft pick.Rooney indicated it was family, players in the meeting said it was because he couldn't get it done, then his personal spokesperson Jay Glazer said Tomlin was basically the one supporting the entire organization. So where do you think Mike tomlin ends up?
He has his pick of jobs.. he may just take a year off too
He would have been hired already if had wanted it. He shut it down. Calls were made.Does he ? We’ve been told s many times he would be hired in 5 minutes if he ever left here,…… that doesn’t make it true.
If you repeat something enough, it doesn’t mean it will happen.
I haven’t heard any scuttlebutt about him being hired / interviewed / associated with any particular team(s) yet.
I’m just playing devil’s advocate, but the rest of the NFL has seen his plate and not all want his left-overs.
Salute the nation
I agree. He won't risk that "no losing season" t-shirt.I think he is done coaching.
I hear you and I agree it's not that big of a deal. I just find it odd for someone who loves to talk, to just ghost everyone. Here is his chance to use some flowery language and give an exit speech for the ages...poof...goneRooney indicated it was family, players in the meeting said it was because he couldn't get it done, then his personal spokesperson Jay Glazer said Tomlin was basically the one supporting the entire organization.
