I'd say several years ago. Not only did it peak, but I'm also starting to think his tenure is approaching the steep decline on the other side of the hill. The offseason was another kick in the pants. We got crap for trading Brown. And we got stuck with his giant contract in 2019. The Steelers clearly misplayed the situation with Bell. The Steelers ended the season with just two wins in their last six games. Art Rooney II seems out of it, only having the stones to blame Steeler kicking problems and being okay with no reply reform despite getting screwed over by it in the past, and watching the Saints get robbed of a chance to play in the Super bowl.

Hopefully not yet

Tomlin peaked his first day as a head coach. It has been downhill ever since.

coach peaked as a poster January 2015.

At his interview

Who cares, it is what it is. We wont win a Super Bowl with this guy we are just marking time.

.

Good grief! Can't we just open a "Dri Archer Thread" for all the Tomlin bashers to commiserate together... without it spilling over-and-over into nearly every other thread? There are certainly twenty-five PLUS NFL organizations who would GLADLY exchange their last dozen years as an organization with those of the Steelers.

For the love of GOD Tomlin is our Coach for at least another and hopefully successful year. I get it, I do, but the horse is dead, pulverized, decomposed and turned to dirt. Can't we be a little more positive and hopeful? HAHAHA what the hell am I thinking!

What does this rant we all have already heard from you at least 1000 times already have to do with when Tomlin has peaked? Try to at least stay on point when you start one of your threads.

Well the last superbowl appearance vs greenbay. **** it's going on 11 years..ugh. The last two years have been an epic clusterfuck and this franchise has lost its mojo.

I say the 2010/2011 season as well.
Sure they've had better offenses in the Killer B era, but the complete teams were up until the SBXLV.
After that season, it's been a downhill pace since.

10 minutes after his firering, that peak will only continue to rise............

Salute the nation

AFC Championship Game vs the Jets.

Myron Copes Birthday.

That was the Peak.

2 weeks later we lose the ******* Super Bowl primarily because of 2 things that were staples of the Tomiln era, at least early on.

1) "At least one time a game I want to throw it deep and up for grabs and let our receivers make a play for the ball" Bruce Arians

2) Our ****** OL that we continuously refused to address in the draft and a complete lack of a competent full back.

The first one led to a pick six. The second one actually helped contribute to the pick six and also led to Mendenhalls fumble when he was crushed in the backfield after Whiff missed his block. Which ended the game.

Why he's a coaching genius, allowing things to get so bad, all he need do is attain a single home playoff game and he's coach of the year and has a job for life.
