He has but 1 tackle in three pre-season games. Why is the question?
 
At least last game he only played the first series, then Dupree got the snaps so its probable that given how many young players the team has on the roster, they are resting the starter and are giving a lot of chances to the kids to prove themselves and earn a spot on the roster and/or the practice squad.

i think he has played for about 2 minutes. Lets do the math... 1 tackle every two minutes of play during the regular season....that equals out to ray lewis numbers.
 
Moats is a new player on the Steelers. You'd figure he needs some work.
 
He played alot for the Steelers last year after JJ got injured and before Deebo was ready. Then even quite a bit afterwards.Actually I think this will be his third year with team.
 
Moats is in his second year with the team. He played a lot last year. Much more than a normal backup would.
 
Yeah, don't you guys remember Farrior's second year with the Steelers and how badly that turned out in 2004? Oh wait...well, I guess he must have played every snap of the pre-season, huh?
 
It is silly to look at preseason stats, sure. But I've kept an eye on him during the games we've played and just eye-test wise I have not really been impressed. He's just crashing into the line and getting stoned on his rushes.

I saw him jump a pile against the Packers, but they didn't acknowledge him with a tackle, yet Ray Lewis did.

Even though Ray Lewis retired, his statisticians haven't retired.

Hell they NEVER retire.

That man will be ringing up stats posthumously. I wouldn't be surprised if they paint his jersey number on the grass so he can trip up runners and QBs frooooom the graaaaaave.....
