What's that smell yeah.

CJ Anderson is still out there

Snell admitted to smoking marijuana about 20 minutes before he was pulled over for speeding Aug. 30 on Route 250 in Harrison County, Ohio, according to a report released by the county’s sheriff’s office.

Snell, 21, of Westerville, Ohio, initially faced a drug charge after Deputy Nathan Stuckey found 2.74 grams of marijuana in a plastic baggie with a Star Wars logo on it that was in a bag on the passenger seat of the car

Snell’s black 2019 Mercedes Benz was clocked at 68 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to the report. He pleaded guilty to speeding. Snell paid $240 in fines and court costs, according to the county.

The deputy noticed a strong smell of marijuana during the traffic stop, and Snell initially said he had smoked pot about 20 minutes before the stop. Stuckey found the marijuana and an unloaded, properly licensed Glock handgun in a case in Snell’s car.

Ugh. What is it with Steelers RBs and weed?

I think weed use is very high in the NFL. Just a matter of who gets caught with it. Once your out of the testing window you can smoke all you want the rest of the year.

Blount would be proud.

The standard is the standard?

Funny how this report comes out right AFTER the trade deadline, Pats just missed out on another RB, lol

Like I said

CJ Anderson
Chris Ivory
Jay Ajayi

all still available

Let him get suspended, sign someone to the roster to replace him. This is why we couldn't make trades. We are tight in cap room and need cap space when **** like this happens.

Does a suspended player still count against the teams books? I would think they do.

Snell is on a rookie contract, his hit is like 700K to the cap. First time offender is, what, 4 weeks? Not much savings here if it does come off the books during a suspension.

We also don't have much to offer in a trade.

And from what I recall, if a guy is injured and can't play, does not matter - the suspension time still runs. At least that was the case for Ravens CB Jimmy Smith, who I remember serving a 4-game suspension for abusing his girlfriend while unable to play due to an achilles injury.

He doesn't get paid while suspended. I would assume that money he isn't paid doesn't count against the cap.

Funny how guys can drink and it's no problem in America or the NFL for that matter....Alcoholism is WAAAAAYYYY more of a problem.

I would like this post 100 times if I could. Perfectly said.

so maybe 4 weeks of his salary. Don't think that would move the needle very much and any bonus he got still counts to the cap.

How ****** up do you have to be to have a bag of pot on the seat beside of you, get pulled over, and not hide the bag??

Guessing the odor made it obvious when the window was rolled down. Even bagged the stuff stinks.

His weed was in a Star Wars bag? Ha!

He should have used the Jedi mind trick on the cop.

You don't smell any weed...
I don't smell weed..

I was driving fine and only 2 miles an hour over the limit
You were driving fine.

I'm free to go,,,move along
You're free to go, move along, move along

Even better speed when you are smoking weed knowing the NFL has rules against using it. Keep that **** at home there won't be no problem.
