What you just witnessed...

What it’s me Hunter was single covered wide all game
How many targets did he get?!!

Sent from my iPhone using Steeler Nation mobile app

He was targeted five times, and had to have had at least three drops, if not four. It’s hard to trust the guy, and I can’t blame Ben one iota for not looking his way more.

A couple of those Ben INTs went off of Steelers players hands.. can’t fault him for that.

Brown didn’t look so good the first half either.

AV had his lunch eaten by Garret.

Conner was awesome, but I would have liked to see Samuels and Ridley get some touches to keep legs fresh.

One - the one off James' hands. The other 3 were the result of horrible throws (2) and him holding the ball waaaaay too long (1).

Garrett beat Villanueva once. The other sack occurred when Ben held the ******* ball ALL ******* DAY. The pass protection was amazingly good. The run blocking was quite good.

The issues were the endless turnovers.

That might be my biggest gripe with coaching throughout that whole shitfest. Conner was winded and I think that attributed to his getting lazy with the ball, and then bam, the fumble. They absolutely should have rotated Ridley and Samuels in to keep him fresh, but part of me wonders if they wanted Conner to have monster statistics as the workhorse as a kind of '**** you' to Le’Veon Bell. I don't know, could be reading into **** that just isn't so. I do know that changed the game as far as the play calling seemed to go though.

They went completely turtle after that fumble and it really changed the complexion of the game IMO. Not taking anything away from Conner b/c the young man had a great day, I blame it more on the coaching. Hopefully they learn a lot from this.

Then they should have inserted Washington into the game to see if that would have made a spark. The guy at least knows how to catch the ball.

I'm blaming all the white players . (this is satire, please leave your multicultural hoseshit behind)

Ben for all the turnovers
Punter for the ****** punt early
Boz for the missed easy FG
jesse James for missing a catch and causing a pick.

As a white guy, I take total responsibility for this as I did not make chili nor did I wear my Bettis jersey until if was too late and we were in OT. Frankly I did not think it necessary to wear my jersey today nor make chili and that's where I let us down. I will vow to do better next week.

How much did Ben play in preseason? People are seriously downplaying that fail.

I'm certainly not downplaying it. That is probably the biggest reason we lost/tied this game. Tomlin is living in his fears. Ben only played a couple series in the pre-season and not a single snap with AB. That is just inexcusable.

I am happy with how the D performed. And Mr Conner, too.(Up yours Bell) This doom and gloom crap is expected but unwarranted.
**** happens. Happened a lot today.

Eh it was an ugly game. I'm over it.
The guys need to show urgency.
Just so damn disturbing that this is a regualr trend the past 7 or so years.

I think aside from the 2010 the season. Tomlin and company have had some shaky starts.
Paired off with an aging QB. The window is shutting fast.

Bens last two games atrocious keep turning the ball over and his *** should go to bench geez us he’s one of top paided players in the
League fukn act like it damn that last one my mom coulda handled the ball better... he looked like Caitlin Jenner in a Stiller uni handling the ball!!!

The second one was a wrong route by AB

True. But with the fumble and being off on his throws, and the two Ints that were clearly his fault. He needs to play a whole helluva lot better very quickly. Which I think he will rebound.

And it won't hurt being at home........

It was a terrible throw. Looked like a punt. @#$%ing ball was in the air so long I thought that the DB was going to call a fair catch.

Not saying he played well, but AB never takes **** for running wrong routes, he did that twice today. The first int was just a dumb throw, no question. There were only 3 INTs

You have the best wr in football, you have one on one you throw him the ball. AB ran the wrong way, if he runs the go route, he may have position on the DB, we'll never know because he ran the wrong route

AB is fighting back from injury though, so I can understand his off and ons. He had a reason for his rust........

My concern is we don't have a legit #3 option in the passing game.

They didnt really played ben and Washington together in preseason and man did it show ben looked like he didn’t even know washington was suited the *** up and on the field

I don't think Washington played a down, SMM.

Yeah Sutton got bitched on that drive.

They might want to think about Coty for the next matchup....or at least rotate him in. Assuming Haden will be out 2 to 4 weeks.

Coty was inactive. They had to adjust on the fly with Haden going down.

Watt agrees with you...

First off...Great game Connor, if the "All-Pro" QB didn't play bush league like he does in these games, you would have been on the bench...no fumble. Thanks to Ben for that!
Second: Tomlin is a loser...this was another "Tomlin Classic" over 100 yards in penalties, horrible second half play calling, no balls to pull the starter that is hurting the TEAM! that's right, its a TEAM sport. Dobbs would have interjected a whole new feel to the game.
Instead Tomlin and Ben go on with their loser game plan. Defense actually looked good, but then again it was the Browns!

Totally a Browns win, Steelers loss....early prediction: Ravens take the AFC North easy. Solid football, no drama, everyone playing 60 minutes

Please...all you Tomlin loves, defend him AGAIN after another loss to a team that hasn't won in two years!

Um, they didn't lose?
