What type of impact can Harrison have if he tells Hoodie everything?

Of course he will and Belicheat's response will be, "Thank you for confirming all of that."
The only thing that worries me with the changing of signals and audibles is the confusion it'll most likely cause for the players who aren't the most savvy players.
They'll probably get some blown coverages because of this.

This^^^^^^ is a distinct possibility.

A terrible move by Tomlin. Harrison at the very least was a plus run defender, a leader, and a spot pass rusher.

Are you kidding? This is on Tomlin? Good grief!

This same reasoning leads to this... my 15-year-old daughter stayed up too late last night playing games and was a bit crabby this morning. "TOMLIN!"

The trash can was a little over-filled after Christmas (for obvious reasons). "TOMLIN!"

Come on.

.

The only concern I would have is what he knows of the offense when we go no-huddle. Does he know the calls and audibles? Other than that, we are fooling ourselves if we think those Masshole **** Bait Trouser Snake Chugging Douche Nozzles don’t know our O and D calls.

Yeah it's silly no matter how you look at it. If you listen to Ben's presser today, they were a bit worried when the Browns signed Sammie Coates a week or so before their matchup. Coates was in the room for what, two seasons, knew everything there is to know about the Steeler offensive calls, hand signals etc. including their gameplan vs. the Browns. So they tweaked things slightly and went on with their lives.

To think Deebo would have even an ounce of new info to give Belichik is a fairy tale. By the time we play them again, if the Pats even make it that far, the entire gameplan, audibles and hand signals will be customized to that week's matchup. Anyone making the argument that Harrison is 'giving away the Steelers playbook' is simply delusional.

At the end of the day, the Steelers had no role left for an aging & slow Harrison. He wasn't happy about it and wanted out. The Steelers paid their respects and let him go. The Pats have huge holes in their D, so they're taking a flier on him. Probably eyeing a match-up with the Chiefs, hoping Deebo still has enough in the tank to make a dent against that waist-bender LT. There is nothing more to this story. Well, maybe that Belichik knew he'd get a rise out of a certain faction of Steelers fans. Those that are emotionally wound-up a bit too tight and push the panic button at a moment's notice. And those, of course, that have a bone to pick with Tomlin and the organization. Other than that, it's a drop in the ocean story with little to no impact in real football terms.

Tibs,

I think there is a difference between what Coates knows and what Harrison knows. There's also a difference between what the Browns soon to be fired coach, and Bill Belichick can do with new information.

I'm sure Harrison will tell New England something they did not know, the impact of which remains to be seen.

Yes, Tomlin cut Harrison, so its on him.

Odd the reactions between this post and mine are different. You are lying to yourself if you think cutting Harrison and having him sign with New England was a good move. Why not cut Big Dan or some other player who does not dress?

My only beef with Tomlin on this issue, is that it sends the message that if you want out, just ***** and complain, be a locker room cancer and you'll get released. And this is not the first time.

How when he held on to him as long as he could.. those reasons are probably the only reason he held on to him. The fact that all this was going on and he still kept the team together and it never got out should be a testament to his leadership not a knock to it. We have had numerous distractions all year and he has kept the team together.

It worked for Harrison and Blount. Didn't work for Bryant.

I personally think the mistake with Blount is something this team learned from. Bryant started crying about wanting a trade. He was tweeting weekly as a malcontent. Coach Tomlin sat him down like a man. Told him to cut the bullshit and deactivated him for a week. I won't lie, it worked. His twitter thumbs are silent and his play has improved.

This exact same strategy should have been done with Blount. You don't cut a guy for walking off the field. You bench him. Especially since we didn't have a #2 back after we dumped Blount. That was a terrible move, cutting someone who still had talent.

Harrison is not any of these. He's at the end of his career, and he's not getting snaps. Plus the Steelers were carrying 9 LBs. Someone had to get dumped, and Moats ended up being position flexible. No brainer really if you just look at the snap counts.

What could Harrison possibly divulge that the Cheats do not have on game film or from sneaking around down on the South Side?
According to Bud Dupree, Harrison had of late been skipping practice and sleeping during position meetings.
Harrison is not the first player to leave a team for a rival. Shame on the Steelers if they didn't plan accordingly; not like they didn't see it coming!

Even with all the info coming out..you still pushing your stupid agenda.

Call it was it is. Something that will help New England and hurt the Steelers if they meet in the playoffs.
