Occasionally someone gets a name right, rarely two. Might be easier to predict the positions.
Mine are:

1. CB
2. DT/NT
3. SS
4. CB
6. RB
7. OG
7. DE

Of course being able to predict this means Steelers draft for need and ability to make team, rather
then Best Player Available.

I hope CB in the first. If Joseph is still there in round 2, then SS.

With a week to go, here's a mock

1 ) CB Jackson III - Cover corner with speed and ball skills. Decent Zone skills too.
2 ) OLB/DL Nassib - Great pass rusher, strong vs the run too. Can play a lot as a rookie in our 4 man fronts
3 ) S Simmons - Has impressed me lately
4 ) NT Ridgeway - Very thick bodied NT.
6 ) P Kasser - Would be a huge upgrade over Berry. All world leg
7 ) QB Driskel - Would like to sign Hoyer, if not Landry Jones is not the answer.
7 ) BPA pick OL

I'm liking it

If I had to guess who the STEELERS will draft. Not who I want this is my best guess.

RD1- Eli Apple CB OSU
We love us some Buckeyes and Apple plays a position of need.

RD2- Jeremy Cash SS Duke
We also love us some hard hitting safeties. I could even see Vonn Bell and us going back to back buckeye picks but I feel Bell gets drafted a little ahead of us. If he is here tho we are sending the fastest plane... well maybe limo to Ohio State Campus.

RD3- Jerald Hawkins OL LSU
With the departure of Beachum and Adams being a question mark I could see them getting a swing tackle and a guy who can play interior. I know we grabbed Harris but I feel his contract does not make him unexpendable and even so we do have room for two backup OT's. Also, I don't see us going defense with three straight picks.

RD4- Jatavis Brown LB Akron
I am not sure where Brown goes. I feel he might sneak into round three but if he's here he can play special teams and potentially replace Timmons next season.

RD6- Dadi Nicholas Edge VT
I feel we won't go early on LB since we have so often the last few years but I feel we need more competition at the position and a future at OLB for when Harrison retires. Dadi has potential and if he's around in the 6th I feel we snag him.

RD7a- Quinton Jefferson DL Maryland
Going back to the defensive well again but feel we will stockpile defensive guys since the offense is already there the defense needs to pick it up. Jefferson is a nice rotational guy for Tuitt and Heyward.

RD7b- Cody Kessler QB USC
He reminds me of a Bruce Gradkowski type QB. I feel the team is not sold on Jones being the back up so I could see Bruce signed again to compete with Jones and Kessler. I feel if Jones doesn't win the #2 spot he won't be handed the #3 spot to ride the pine.

1. Dl
2. Ss
3. Cb

What I would do, not necessarily what the team will do:

2. CB
3. S
4. WR
6. LB
7. OL/DEF

1. cb
2: lb
3: nt
