I have never seen a such a chicken **** plan on offense for a professional football team. I had pretty much assumed this game would be an L, but to come in and basically play scared and roll over for the Pats is inexcusable. Awful. Absolutely awful.

It looked liked the exact plan as last year when we beat them. That’s the problem, did they think New England would let that happen again? Should have had a backup plan.

Just looking at the player stats you can see there were 10 receptions that gained a total of 38 yards. I imagine there are a few more receptions that could be added to that futility. I think the offensive game plan was for the Patriots to do a really bad job of tackling.

If you look at the scramble from Ben when we are near the Pats goal line it really sums it all up. No one is open and no one does anything to GET open after the play breaks down and Ben escapes the pressure. That’s where we miss AB and to be honest Eli Rogers would have moved to a hole in the defense and settle down for Ben also.

We were ill prepared and made no adjustments. And Moncrief should be cut to make room for Skipper.

They started with a mix it up game plan early but couldn't execute in any fashion. Then they got behind and all bets were off. The lack of playing time in the pre-season was as obvious as in past years. Ben was off and his receivers were off. Ben needs to not take his normal day off this week or next (like he eventually did later in last season) so he can get in sync with his starting team.
.
Ben and the starters should always play in 2 preseason games. The first game, they play a couple series and hopefully score. The 2nd game, they play an entire half. Their is absolutely nothing wrong about that and it is very low risk. Playing a couple series and not with all your number 1's every year during the preseason and this is what it looks like on O

Go trade for Mike Evans or someone of that caliber. We need another #1 WR, that’s not Juju yet.

Gameplan cant work when WRs cant get open in single coverage

No playmakers at all on this team, can we redo the draft now?

Ummmm has anyone been watching roughly the past 10 years? We always have an ultra conservative game plan when on the road under Tomlin. We supposedly have on of the best Olines in the NFL, but we get away from the run to quickly, start running a ton of 5 wr sets with no RB in the backfield to at least give the defense the thought of a run, and that also takes Vance off the field. Then we run a ton of 2 yard routes, do we have zero confidence in our Oline?
