I know we have a thread about Heath with many of well deserved thank yous for 83. I was wondering what were some of your favorite Heath Miller moments?
For me the clip that runs through my head is his td reception in his rookie year v the colts in the divisional round.
It wasn't a long ball or a great feat of athleticism ( I don't even think it was the longest play he had on that drive) but, the catch had an air of confidence the way he tucked it in, and "spiked" it (wasn't really a spike but didn't know what to call it) that sent the message we were going be around all day, and this rookie was the Rock of consistency even in a big moment in his rookie year.
Won't see the hall of fame, with today's hyper inflated TE numbers, but will probably go down as the last great "true" tight end who was expected to both block and receive.
He was certainly that guy who was like the jones to Montana, or novachek to aikman.
