Well lets guess what horrendous gutpunch or joyous Christmas miracle the league has cooked up for us this week....
They shut down Rivers because the Chargers line is terrible. Cleveland has one of the best. I guess you could say that Matty Ice is better than Mayfield, but not sure about that. Mayfield is better than Jackson, and Cleveland is as physical as Baltimore. I think Baltimore has their hands full this week and will lose.I think the Steelers win but the Ravens also win. I like the look of the Browns, and gosh I hope they win, but I just don't see it. The Ravens have shut down better QB's than Baker Mayfield. Plus, they are playing in Baltimore. so there's that. As much as I am hoping the Browns somehow pull it out, I just don't see it.
Tomlin v sub .500 team. Recipe for disaster. Relying on the Clowns to get a playoff berth, priceless.
Browns have some pretty good incentive. First time to have a winning record in living memory. Doing that while beating the team that abandoned the city and, maybe killing their chances at the playoffs?
In the end, what will happen is that it will look like, up to the last minute of one of the games that the Steelers may end up in the playoffs only to have those hopes dashed by something goofy. Ben will throw a pass that gets batted back to him, he scrambles to get to the goal line and gets the ball knocked out of his hands at the 1, the ball rolls into the EZ and out of bounds.
Bungles are without their QB, their two top wr's , Top TE and their d is probably the worst in the NFL or close to it. Brown or no Brown Steelers should win that one.If Brown cant play we are screwed.

Sounds like a classic Tomlin Trap Game.
Browns are going to treat this like their Super Bowl. A chance at a winning record is pretty important for that franchise moving forward. I also think the Lamar Jackson magic has to wear off at some point. Not a better week than this one.
